Re: Avant 200 version 3.0 new and improved
My dear RENNWGN has a sister! This is a great first thread to open up for my first time back here in probably 6 months. The setups will be very similar. Should be a blast! You can thank me for pushing Marc to develop the 6 speed setup for our T44s :) (even though he wasn't the first to do it, now ...

Here's the experimental mock up part we've been discussing
It needs some clean up, but overall it came out well.

Maybe ask Kavon Khashe if he is able to do one for you depending how close you are to him. He doesn't post here, but he's on Facebook. I have no idea if he's doing them on a regular basis or not though.

Lol coincidence? I'm sure that's not the case. But that's good to see. Much more proper welding there.

Re: Anyone ever use DrBeastCar ?
Fair enough, Jim. We shouldn't settle though and let people get away with dubious business practices. If the weld quality was the only thing in question and it was addressed honestly that would be one thing, but throw some dishonesty in there and that's when it gets sour.

Dead serious. Looks like every aftermarket exhaust out there. It's not the space shuttle. Looks better than my shit with sugar hanging off the inside.

Are you kidding Jim? Or maybe you don't understand what's inherent in a good, strong weld. There is nowhere near enough penetration on those welds. That truly is shit work.

Hell yeah, buddy. Great job! Go for an ABZ. That's what you really want! I have one, but it's been sitting outside for far too long. I'd give it to you for free if you could make use of it, but it'd need to be rebuilt and I don't even know if that'd make it right. Could be rusty inside for all I know.

Re: The 20vt Quantum Syncro Wagon - The Group B Grocery Gett
Interesting on the clamp/flange situation. Well, if you decide want to make yourself some money on that housing, do send me a message! There's really no reason to use that hotside from a performance standpoint. It's a packaging thing if you have a stock manifold and are running one of hanks kits.

Re: The 20vt Quantum Syncro Wagon - The Group B Grocery Gett
Awesome, glad you made it over. I'd save yourself the headache and get one of hanks manifolds. Hell, if you aren't using a k26 flange, why not sell the indy housing to someone who needs it like me and get yourself a regular vband one so you don't even need adapters?? I'd pay handsomely for that ...

If the condition of the rest of that avant is good, then the price is fair.
Paint on the second post is beautiful. I love that color. I doubt anyone would use it as a divot considering its a 20v?

Re: 5 Channel Thermocouple Gauge/Amp w Analog Out & More
Nope, if the Dekas are working OK then I wouldn't upgrade. Then again, you are trying to get to the bleeding edge of fuel economy and performance based on fuel film calculations and the like... so maybe it would be worth it when you get to that point. I doubt it'd be enough to pay for the injectors ...

Re: Injector sizing
You really can't hurt anything going with larger injectors. You could go with some modern 1200s and still have the same or probably better idle quality. The only trade-off is price. Anyway, looks like you have a solution.

Yeah, that's the heavy duty version. It isn't really necessary. You really can't go wrong with The Sensor Connection.
