Below here I am going to add any major notable info and updates
***********************************************************************************************
So this car was built by Mance Etheredge who used to have a built urS4 but bought this car with ~80k around 2003 from Champagne Motors. Mance is a machinist/engineer with a long history of performance car work; I am unaware of the majority of his builds since they were before I started messing with Audis and they are not very well documented online. He was involved in the 2006 PPIHC Open Class winning 'urA4' B5 with AAN car; some of his 12v work is saved @ http://12v.org/audi/
Starting in 2004, when I bought my first CQ, I found 20v.org, audifans.com, audiworld.com, and motorgeek.com this is when I found Mance' posts on this 90 ( First & Second posts on this 90). His work was always over the top and my budget but definitely gave me the confidence that these cars were worth dealing with and I figured that someday I could work up to his levels. I guess I took a shortcut

We'll start with what I think I know (likely to be modified once I poke around and talk to Mance):
Exterior:
OEM RS2 front bumper with brake duct fog lights
S2 Sedan/Avant rear bumper
Ellipsoidal headlights
OZ Superturismos (x5) 17x8.5 with 235/40/17 Nokian WR A3
OEM cloth Sport seats
Porsche 993 Mirrors
Front Suspension:
996TT front calipers with 2 pc. 323x32mm cross-drilled/ventilated rotors
Rear CQ strut housings (not swaged)
Bilstein urS dampers (unfortunately the Ohlins TTX46MT Mk IIs were never finished)
Billet adjustable steering arms (shortened for 2.6 turn lock to lock)[apparently 2.6 was stock so now must be <2.6]
Adjustable spring perches
Titanium tie rods with heim joints
Titanium adjustable front strut brace
Pro-Mount strut top mounts
Spring Rate 0800.250.0400
Sway Bar N/A
Rear Suspension:
B5 S4 rear calipers and 306mm X 23mm rotors and ECS hats
Ohlins coilovers
Spring Rate 1000.250.0450
Swaybar N/A
Engine (this is where the biggest unknowns are but the below seems to be the most recent update):
272* duration gun-drilled cams with 13mm lift
High RPM valve springs, LW lifters, titanium retainers
1mm larger int/exh valves that are "under-cut" 1mm with 1mm larger int/exh seats
6mm valve stems, guides, seals etc,
Ported, polished & CC'd IM, heads and combustion chambers (http://12v.org/audi/imworkshop/, http://12v.org/audi/headworkshop/14.htm)
6" diameter airbox inlet velocity stack
RC Engineering balanced/blueprinted injectors
Spiral wound Random Technology high-flow cats
Lightened 60-2 front crank damper/pulley
K&P S4 filters on engine and power steering
Transmission/Rear Diff (Again, I can't confirm the internal details but based on the recent updates):
Solid/short shifter (the 2-3 lateral throw is wide/weird; not sure if it's an 016 thing or can be adjusted)
3B single mass 16lb flywheel re-surfaced/lightened/balanced to 14lbs
200TQ Sachs OEM disc/pressure assembly
016 4.11 final drive but with a fairly high 5th for the HWY
B5 S4 rear diff
Lightweight single piece driveshaft 34"
Tubular cromoly mount arms so engine/transmission sit 5/8" lower & shifted back ~2" in car for better/lower center-of-gravity
All CVs have been lightened per http://12v.org/audi/cvworkshop/
The front half shafts are gun drilled and powdercoated (he left the rears to improve weight balance)
Other Stuff:
Some crazy uprated 200 20v Master Cyl (I need to take a close look)
The steering hydro system has a nice Peterson AL reservoir, filter, and cooler
Remus rear box
Aero wipers off of something or other
Adjustable brake bias (red lever in front of the ABS below)
Should have Acetron bushings all over; I'll have to crawl around to list them all.
Rolled fenders for 245s
I think that's all I have to tell for now. The plan is to clean it up (paint/replace the front mesh, RS2 grill ($$), wash, wax, and detail) and drive it as I wrap up some loose ends on the CQ in preparation for listing it (the CQ) on a large scale. Once the CQ is on to it's next owner I'll think about a standalone (1000 more RPM and more advance would be great) and further down the road a supercharger or an 07k would be nice.
File photos representing the current state (cleaner though
