Jim, et.al. How best to run oil catch can of cam cover? Where is best to plumb in return line? Should there be constant suction on cam cover, or is some sort of PVC valve needed - and if so which one(single or bi-directional).

Ben, no PCV valve needed, and just run a low spot in the return line so vapor does not travel up it, yet fluid will eventually drain out back into the crank vent.
So I went to the Pure Motorsport Open house today, good time, thanks Mike. ACNA Julien drive is tomorrow. Drove 140 miles today, some spirited, even one joy ride and still only used 7 gallons of gas. Schweet
I also updated the first page of this thread to reflect some of the updates to the drivetrain that have happened over the years.

It's just a run of the mill Sachs TO bearing, decided to shoot its ball bearings out the side then proceeded to melt itself. Just one of those things, the new part failed.
I thought it was the clutch master because I had no clutch pedal, it turns out I snapped the input shaft to the master off because the slave bottomed out when I was trying to jam it into gear.

How do they fit in the rear? Looks like you have a lot of ride height into it so it may never get close to the fender, but that's a pretty meaty tire.

They rub a bit, but like you said, I run enough ride height to compensate most of the time. I rolled the fenders out a little, but it didn't seem to help. I need to do some B4 rear fenders and finish painting the car..

You should get on that, some of us are waiting for a guinea pig to give that a shot  :-D

One more question--those 8D0615301J rotors up there--how'd you find a set with only a single bolt pattern machined in?

Yeah, because I am so fast at getting projects done these days! What is probably going to happen is I will cut the fender and bump it out where the bumper meets. I hate that area.

I took a pic of the rotors because I did nothing special when i ordered them from autohausaz. I was kinda surprised when they showed up with only 5 holes. I could have cared less though , the 10 hole rotors were actually easier to drill and I had zero problems with the old ones.

Made a new shroud for the bottom of the radiator to help funnel some air.

I really like this mod. Can't wait for some feedback, but I trust you will have good results. I really need to look into doing more shrouding on my car just because it is incomplete. Nice job!

Wow have you got the dimensions etc for the shroud?

Makes me wonder about the shroud design analysis that Bells does.

Sam, you know this was done already...Oliver did it few years back.
Jim, wheels look real good. Nice job on the shroud...I don't know if you had water temp issues before but I would worry more about oil cooling and shrouding the oil cooler, if you haven't already.
After how long are you taking it back out to the track??

Who's this Oliver? The biggest 'huh' factor for it is the change in fender diameter from B3 to B4, meaning if you followed the door line, the center of the B4 fender would be further back from the B3 location, and that messes some stuff up (nothing offset subframe mounts couldn't fix?). Have any pictures? The next easiest option is to just grow a pair like Mark and SilverCQ did and just start cutting metal and forming your own lines :tard: .
Back to the rotors, you're saying the 10-hole rotors drill out just fine for the 4-bolt switch? That's pretty nice if so.

Oliver Sprenger...

This was done probably 4-5 years ago...can't remember. But it looks right. His website is gone so I can't find any more pictures...
basically it was B3q converted to full RS2 OEM spec inlcuding interior and every little detail.
IIRC, he played with control arms and ball joints to get the wheel to center right.
