Just got back from two days at Buttonwillow. I am a changed man, and have a new laundry list of stuff that I "need". The car did awesome, and didn't skip a beat the entire time. I had 0 issues with coolant or oil temps. More later, but here is a pic that I had to pick up from the pro that was there with the club.

I did go for a ride in the monster urq, it was a ball, fully prepped for track. It is Bill Perkin's car. He was my instructor for the event and took me for a ride after we had been out in my car for 4 sessions. He can really drive that thing! The turbo is smaller than mine and was very responsive. It looked like a 3017R.
Yes, the Black Coupe is Andy's, he is becoming quite a good driver as well. He makes the most out of stock motor. I was riding in a stage 3 B5 S4 behind him for a while and saw him taking lines that I would not have attempted in my car at first thought. The lack of power had him going through the corners much more smoothly than me.
Greg did not make it with the V8 Coupe, he had a family matter that he had to take care of.
My favorite ride was in the B5 full stage 3 S4 with Stasis Motorsport suspension on it. OMFG was that car planted and fast.

Got one of the seats in, this on is a Cobra Suzuka S. I tried to find something a little cheaper and through a different source, but I just had to have this seat. Everything else felt like sh*t. I purchased a steel framed Monoco for the passenger side to save some money. I will post more pics of exactly how this was done later once I clean it up a bit.
I will say that OMFG is this awesome! It is like someone gave me a new car! I had no idea a seat could make this much of a difference, I can feel everything happening, and because I am under control now, the car is WAY more fun to drive. I have bed grinning from ear to ear for the last 4 hrs, and that was just from a trip to HD motorsports for more metal to do the passenger side!

if i see good,you cut off the oem bracket and then welded in a new rail.Its hold only on this rail?And the rail is together with the seat , isnt it?
btw : looks very good,better then oem seat..

Nice choice! I have a Cobra Evolution Gt and love it. It's comfy enough for any daily driving and really deep so it holds you nicely on track...
Get some 6 point belts now and you'll be in heaven once on the track..

For sure, I will get them eventually. Here is a preview of the Frankenstein bracket. I need to tweak a few things and paint it, but you get the picture. I will get a pic of it in the car once painted. Full writeup after I get the passenger side in. Three bolts and I can swap in the factory seats with this setup.

Boy, you're not kidding about frankenstein.
As long as it works, and is strong enough...
My only concern with it is whether that single adjuster/slider will hold up in a serious crash. All the force of your weight is going through it, and since the seat belt is attach to it too, it can't transfer much, if any, of the load to the chassis.
Once you install a 5/6 point harness, it won't be a problem anymore.

I thought about that too, but that is why I kept the factory seat belt provisions. The factory slider next to tunnel is ratcheting so when the belt is pulled up it locks into place. I overbuilt the crap out of this, even the part that crosses over the center slider is solid 3/4"X1/2" steel, and not just sectioned out tubing. I don't see it being any weaker than the factory mounting point.

I think you should be fine.
I'll snap a picture of my setup tomorrow which is really really nice if you want to maintain capability to reverse to stock.
Basically it is 4 rectangular tubing sections welded into square. Rear piece is wider and reaches to factory sliders. There are 2 "feet" welded on the front that are bolted to that raised section on the floor and 2 sliders on each side are bolted to it. Then use traditional side-mounts for the seat. It's all chromoly too so fairly light and plenty strong, but wasn't that cheap....I saved a bit on the seats originally, $800 for a pair, so it all evened out.
