Well over the recent weeks I've gotten the heat exchanger and welded up mounts to the radiator and packaged that up nicely, it just BARELY fits with the grille/bumper on, had to do a lot of trimming. I'm hoping an RS2 bumper will leave a bit more room for this.

New subframe came in to make more room for downpipes - There just wasn't enough room for 2 and to clear the axle before - now there is plenty of room for the axle so it won't melt every 8 seconds. I ended up redoing both downpipes a little bit, and I think this will work out a whole lot better. Downpipes are now finished, and exhaust is completely bolted up for final install all the way to the x-pipe, and braced to the transmission mount brackets

Axles also came in with an absolutely astounding turnaround time -- 10 days! all 4 are OEM '15 S8 inner CV's, and OEM B5 S4 outer CV's which should handle some power. I'm not sure the rear outer's will last forever, but they worked fine on my last car. I love these things, they're perfect.

Also finished up the rear part of the exhaust which came out amazing. Clearance is a little bit tight, so I had to go both over and under the axle, have approximately 1/4" clearance from the subframe/body in some parts so this is a bit tight, but I think it will work. Now I just need to mate the x-pipe/resonators to the rear portion, which should be pretty easy. The exhaust tips came out absolutely PERFECT. I spent a lot lot lot of time making them line up right, and i'm very happy. Nothing worse than having and exhaust look wonky.

Lastly, which front bumper do I get? regular RS2, or Widemouth RS2 to allow for much better cooling? I'm not totally sold on the widemouth, but it would be functional.

Other than that, suspension, brake adapters, driveshaft and S2 hubs are on the way and I will be out of town for 10 days so I'm hoping to get this thing bolted together when I get back and take it for its first real drive - with brakes this time! Hammer down.
