WTB B3 90/Coupe 2pc Strut housings

I am looking for a front pair of 2 piece Strut housings, upper and lower, from a B3 to convert to coilovers and then install on my 4000Q. Looking for all associated parts to complete the swap/upgrade. Let me know what you have. Thanks!

Re: 85 4ktq first post with intro and questions

Good looking car and swap. Getting rid of the CIS will be great. Standalone is the only way to go with boost. Been there, done that. It was a huge upgrade on my 20vt. Bend the tierod a bit, and then get a proper alignment. It shouldn't take much bending. An alignment makes all the difference in the ...

Re: Mike's 4ktq project

Hey Mike,
Nice score. Glad to see another 4kq. As for swaps, Id go 20vt all the way if you were going to use standalone. If not, then 20vt.
Check the wiring in the drivers front door jam. This is where I found broken wires keeping the trunk from locking/unlocking with the key.

Much better! Nice work.
Let me know what those spark plugs look like.
Keep me posted on the O2 sensor geting tied in. Get it really close at this boost level before you go upping the boost.

This sounds more like the WG is fluttering. What size vac line is going to the BOV? Its is a direct line from the manifold?

Re: Help me get my 4000 Started! More Help Needed

Post up a pic of your Config settings for your timing as well as your dwell setpoints. I would like to see someone verify that the spark is set to happen at the correct degree points for a 5cyl on the config page.
Your ign% goes to 100% about the time you are at 3250rpm. What is your dwell like ...

See what you can find in a 215 width. Thats what im running at the moment. Try either Kumho XS or Falken 615K. Which Yoko's were you looking at?

Re: Help me get my 4000 Started! More Help Needed

I believe you will want to smooth out your "RPM ing. advance". I dont think thats your real problem here but that needs tweaking. What does the config table look like for the timing degrees? Where the spark actually fires, at what degree.

Re: Taco's 4KTQ 20vt Swap: The Red Baron - "THE CAM" is BACK

My turbo blew smoke out the exhaust under vacuum when it was shot. The other reasons for smoking I can think of would be lack of crank case venting.
The other item I have mentioned to you many times is to get a A/F gauge in there.
What tires are you running?
