Re: Julian's '91 200 20vt
That's interesting lol. Definitely logical though, I'll keep it in mind whenever I finally start driving mine around.

Re: Ryan's 95.0 s6 project/build
Figured I'd post another update while I've got the evening to myself lol
Still haven't gotten the boost issue resolved. Thought it was going to be as easy as swapping the borg ebcs for the stock n75 after having a 'doh moment but that didn't work out.

Re: Ryan's 95.0 s6 project/build
Update:
So turns out the speed sensor issue was actually a ring gear issue. Pulled the starter to check out the flywheel and the section of the ring gear that was under the sensor during the bad signal appears to have been corroded on the inside and ate away at some of the teeth. We're assuming ...

Cliff notes: Paragraphs summarizing wtf I've been doing the past two years and why the car still ain't running right. Probably should have kept my s2000 too.
So, uh. It's been a minute since I posted last. Lol. A lot has been happening in my life the past year or so and I never find myself in much ...

Yes, I did bend the rod, it was completely straight from the factory. It works perfectly the way it is now. Also, I had enough adjustment on the rod that I could afford to have the actuator spaced another 3/8" away from the actual gate.
I'll keep that in mind. Measure twice, bend once. Lol

Re: Looking for efr7163 owners with an iroz header
Did you have to bend the rod from the actuator? I don't think it would be too bad to just cut a piece of aluminum but it would also have to be bent maybe 45 degrees or find a secure way to bend my rod .

Looking for efr7163 owners with an iroz header
What have you guys done for your internal wastegate canister bracket?
After clocking the turbo, it doesn't line up correctly and it seems that the only route is to go custom bracket.
Any help is much appreciated.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get some info on what guys have done with their diverter valves on non-stock location turbo setups?

So. 2 1/2 months later, the s2000 is finally gone, the s6 has moved into the garage, and I can finally begin budgeting out my "build".

Not I. I wouldn't want to drive the car up there until I take care of a bad pulley it has along with the timing belt. I need to arrange grabbing the special tools and parts from Audi down the street if they have them.

Re: Ryan's 95.0 s6 project/build
From what I understand the 3071 chip is conservative, which is what I was leaning towards anyway since I'd like to not have to do a rebuild and rods, etc til I go with a bigger setup. That was my reasoning for edging that route from 034. This weekend I'll look more into my options as I'll be heading ...

Re: Ryan's 95.0 s6 project/build
I wasn't planning on reapplying the clear bra, they for whatever reason didn't cover the trim under the headlights or the headlight washer covers so they're chipped to hell and for the amount of struggle it has been taking it off. I never want to do it again. I have roughly 12 hours total time in it ...

Ryan's 95.0 s6 project/build
Hey everybody, new guy here. Picked up my s6 from another Quattroworld member a few weeks back to get her back into shape and start a build. I've got a ton of questions on build options and personal opinions on building by stages but more on that later.
