Anybody know why the OEM 5-cyl Wastegate has heat sink fins?

Would coating it with ceramic coating be a bad idea because it will retain heat?

Or would a high heat thermal dispersant be better for that?

If it is designed with a heat sink, then ceramic coating it to further ...
