Sam
just off center it seems to me....
and what is impressive to me is the fact that i still made almost 600 AWHP on them
Damn those wrist pins got owned! Word of advice for the future... limit the boost with a valve duty cycle cut or an ignition retard at a certain boost or both. I always have at least 2 or 3 boost limiters(boost controller, ECU ignition retard(soft) and ECU fuel cut(hard) and they've saved my engine when my WG started sticking.

i need a manual trans AEB crank, in advance, if anyone has/knows of one in good shape and not expensive
I thought right off that the wrist pin slop might have bent the crank, I've seen it a lot with spun rod bearings. I just didn't want to be the guy to mention it.
and some damage shotz as well.... i am gonna make a windchime out of these here partz.... once the neighbor gets home so i can get some fishing line
and then the new pieces.... they look pretty beefy. the middle i think is .180 wall, and it tapers out to the ends of the pins internally. hard to take a picture of something like this.
Ok I gotta say it and get it off my chest. Is it possible those pins were defective? I mean wft one ok, two wow all four wtf!! Somethings just not sitting well with me about those pins.
crank walked, had > 1.1mm end to end play. sideways stress on the pins? probably due in part to the heavy ass clutch, a dual diaphragm pressure plate...
lifted the head twice, torched it the last time.
lots of 8500 rpm rev limiter hits while drag racing.
this is the other end of the pin view. its solid....
Well, on the plus side, if you ever get beat by someone in class, you can just tell them that your motor is so powerful that you broke all four wrist pins (sarcastic )
I come back from my vacation to find this!? lol ( lol, i said lol) WOWZERS! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen the pics. Nice new parts man! And the vid with your boy is soooo cute, that I have to make sure my wife doesn't see it and demand we have kids!
