ok, i think i figured out my steering rack issue of autosteering the wheel all the way to the right when i start it up... the lines were hooked up backwards. so, for you kids putting a B4 rack into an older car, the hole on the top of the rack, is the pressure, and the hole on the steering neck, is the return to the reservoir. the line solution i came up with is a little modding to stock bits and it should be good to go.
The next question is why aren't you coming to the Vegas GTG in the Gobi Urq? Someone with an Urq that close really ought to be here. It should be a good time.
the whole exhaust probably weighs about 15lbs with the SS DP and tip sections. i've fought the good fight to try and make everything ready for Vegas, but i've lost. a few things left to do on the car and work/life not really being conducive at this time for such a trip. i haven't put enough miles on the car in this formation yet to trust it for over 2k miles of straight driving. sorry guys, i really feel i'm going to regret not making it :( i wanted to meet a bunch of you. maybe the 35th anniversary can be in the PNW ? we have a ton of GOOD driving roads.
John, thats enough tormenting. Get out in the garage. 8)
(edit)
And by the way, we aren't going to wait for the 35th. We have to keep these events happening annually somewhere, look how many cars got finished and back on the road with intentions of making the trek to Vegas.

I sure would have liked to meet you and your Zermatt Derek. It is a long trip and hard to fit it. You and yours would have been a great addition however. Next time!!
I've got a daughter and her family (read grandson) that are living in Portland. I'm always looking for an excuse to be up there.....a big Urq GTG in the Pacific Northwest sounds like an excuse waiting to happen.
