Anyone know where to source a M8 1.25 flange nut that is a 10mm hex drive? I had four of them holding my WG down and they were perfect. Too bad the studs I purchased were't up for the job and they have since disappeared. I'm down to one now.

Oh bummer dude... not sure where you'd find those. Metric is hard to find even up here in socialismland.

4800 spool is NOT bad for the absolute madness that would follow it shortly after.. 61% Injector Duty cycle at 16.5psi tho... think you'll be ok when you run double that figure... oh wait this is your old fueling right? No Walbro double pumper or 2000cc injectors right?

I agree :) And this is without N75, just straight line to WG which can delay spool a bit.

Old fuel system is correct. 044 and 870's @ 4bar (1000cc). Pump fuel.

After watching that video, all I can say is that is out of control efficiency.

Pretty promising on the duty cycle log Nick. Based off fuel, I bet that is ~450whp at ~215kpa. Nice. That thing is going to be a bloody riot.

As for the spool, I still stick by my prediction of 5600rpm for 30psi in 3rd. On a HTA3582r, it takes about 650 rpm to go from 15psi to 32psi.

can't wait.

Got a point there. buuuut, only 15psi should see little to no pressure drop. It is probably a little on the restrictive side. In for results! If you really end up with full boost by 5000 in 3rd, I see a super 94 in my TT at some point. :)

I hear there's a White S6 you'll have to watch out for.. running a ball bearing turbo with NOS. Word is it may not be done for race wars tho

Finally just got a chance to look at that log! Your intake temps are amazing, lol. What gear was it, 4th? I'm in for results too. If you end up with full boost by 5000 in third, that's spooling the same as my 30r... :o

Something must be wrong with your 30r Matt... That turbo should be full boost MUCH faster than that.

Also, his intake temps shouldn't be great based on the intercooler alone, however that turbo is probably quite efficient at only 16psi. I'd bet that is a big part of the low temps.

It was around 27° C that night which helped for sure. MAT isn't bad for the stock intercooler but like Chris said, at low boost the turbo probably isn't making a ton of heat.

In regards to .63 K26 30r spool, mine was at 25psi around 4300 IIRC. I can look at a long when I'm on my computer.

Yeah... it's a cast wheel. lol

From what I've seen from Ed and Jim, it's pretty much identical to their (old) setups in terms of spool.

Edit, I'm at .82 a/r hotside now Nick. I lost about 500rpm going to the .82, a little more than I wanted but oh well.

Double edit: In 3rd 28 psi is around 4800rpm, 4th is about 4300-4400 rpm. It doesn't really feel that laggy though since the car is so light. It just goeeees wheeeeeeeeee :drive:

Gotta wrap you mind around joules required to displace. Even though there are lower temps, it still takes X amount of joules to cool Y amount of volume. If there is only 35lbs/min worth of air being cooled from 100c to 30c, if you have a turbo that produces 60lbs/min at low boost and the temps are only 65C leaving base, which exit temps will be lower excluding all the other variables?
