hmm drew, I think we're all more excited than you at this point to see what your t44 can do aha. So the plan is to stick a boost controller on it, and set it below 10 (While the k26 is running 25-30?) Will be following for sure

on 91 it can max out to 26 psi, but that was with Marc tuning then and there on my vems. motronic may not get the same results until he has perfected a tune. To describe the difference, an mtm chip-tune on a stock k24 motor FEELS like double the power. The billet k26 FEELS like 1/2 to 2/3 more than that, but with a touch more lag. It is significant.
hahahaha I don't think there could be a better explanation..... Marc I assume tuning motronic for E85 would be no different other than the fuel trim and injectors? I think the price of two ecu's is still substantially lower than VEMS + COP. How high has someone run a 3B distributor up to... I hear a lot of scary stories about spark hop - but I believe that is just due to the incorrect rotor?
Dave... would love to see some videos of iron mike in action
Put my 3" turbo back in, green giant injectors, basically silicone everything, and prettied up the engine bay some. New o2, mfts, g28, cap, plugs, rotor, distributor (with new hall sensor), and wires. 044 fuel pump, new filter, etc...
I've actually been trying to track down a g28 issue for a while now that's causing things to miss up top (past 5k RPM)
i've been through a few used G28's and finally purchased a new one (which happened to fix a hard, abrupt cut out that was happening) but I still get some missing up top and the code comes back every time i clear it. Any grounds I should be checking for?
just out of curiousity what boost levels are you running? what kind of plugs do you have in it as well? i had a similar problem with my car actually blowing the spark out at around 16psi plus i had a lean issue because of an old fuel filter. i put NGK BKR7EIX iridium plugs in my car, a fresh fuel filter and the car is an animal with peaks of 23psi over all. almost forgot i gapped my plugs .23 as well.

I'm seeing as much as 24psi with the Ben Swann tune. Nothing really seems in control, boost gets all wavy, it runs fairly rich (high 10.x's WOT Afr) and it misses pretty readily, sometimes backfires a bit if i push through it. I'm going to swap to RS2 injectors to lean out the tune a bit and see what happens
I have the proper fp5dor plugs (or whatever they are) but I can't say what the gap is, it's been a while. I might try the NGK's just for funzies

10.0 AFR's the whole way through a pull? thats stupid rich if thats the case. me and my friend run the NGK's because we both had issues with the spark blowing out plus his tune was a custom one which seemed to put the AFR's really rich at first sign of boost. through a pull in his car it would get around 12.0 to 13.0 AFR's through the rest of the rev. that first shot of fuel would fowl the bosch plug a bit and than it would clean up as he pushed through and by the time he got near his target boost level it would miss because it was blowing the spark out. now mind you his car is a 550whp car that runs 30 to 32 psi as well. the iridium plugs are impossible to fowl out and blow out the spark from what i've seen with my car and my friends.

I swapped out the Ben Swann tune for a TAP RS2 tune and put in RS2 injectors. Dialed the AFR in very nicely, but was still getting a stumble/miss at 5k RPM WOT (could ease up to redline without issue)
So I swapped in a different MAF and no longer have the stumble/cut at 5k RPM but getting some significant boost oscillation (at 16psi w/the RS2 tune, haven't gone back to the Swann tune to see what would happen with the new-to-me MAF)
The BLUE line is manifold pressure, you can see the tiny little oscillations (which are pretty significant oscillations in real life)
Will try a new N75 to see if that fixes the oscillation. I truly don't believe there's any boost leaks, I've checked and re-checked
Short lived! Lol. Cap came off on my second "test drive"
On another note... I have a 3 WG springs... Stock, 1.9bar and 20v stock. The 20v stock looks and feels right in the middle Of the other 2, think I can control boost with that one?
Stock gives me 19-20psi, 1.9bar I was seeing 24-25. Id feel safer around 22-23 i think.
Easy enough to find out, just wondering if there's something I'm Not thinking of
