Love the Fuchs.

Wouldn't mind seeing how a set looks on the #farmenwagen, actually.

They're not too bad... I'd actually say a drop would look better. I happen to know a guy with a set of coil overs gathering dust ;)

Looks really good Kenny. I second Dustin's comment regarding a little lowering, but it is your car after all.

I do like the idea of lowering the car as my next project, however with a potential move to Ontario Canada in the future, and the road conditions up hear in Edmonton, odds are I'll bottom out and trash something. And Ontario is brutal on infractions on "Modified" cars.

I love mine low but the ride sucks hitting bumpstops all the time and I can't even clear a large pinecone! I vote for high and comfy, mine is going up someday... Car is looking sharp BTW!

The OEM 92 sport suspension ride and height is a fine compromise, IMO. If that proves too difficult/expensive to find a used set, I bet one could cobble together something similar using reputable aftermarket brands. The guys in Europe probably have had this figured out for years.

Well, thought I was going to get 1 step forward and get my windshield replaced for the first time ever. Well guess it was to good to be true. 1 shop local was able to get it...only one in western Canada. The shop installed the glass and the new moulding, I was getting excited. They went to put the last 13mm wiper nut back on the DVR side and because my car has no hood strut they decided to go a full 90 degrees with the hood and cracked the brand new glass. Now I'm waiting 4 more weeks for glass.

Major bummer.

How bad is it? Any way you can turn this around so you have a spare on hand for next time?

The odds of the glass coming out in 1 piece are almost 0%.

I actually had a spare one I got with the Brembos, that one only lasted 1 week before the seals gave out. if you have the one off your old S4 id take it for sure....at this point I should have had your car shipped here lol.

I still have the whole shell lol. Think about anything that you may need and let me know. I'll remove the rod when I go down this weekend.

Hood struts are a life changer. I could never go back to vice grips haha!

Really sorry about the windshield, glad you were able to get a new one though.

That sucks, at least they did it and not you!! I had a similar situation not long ago - I was having my RS6 glass changed and they didn’t even get the new window in, they were doing it at my work, set it on the stand (but only kind of) watched it fall off in slow motion... fortunately it is a new chassis so they had glass for it in the city...

Thinking about getting mine done soon. Did you have to get a new seal or anything? Or do they use the weather paste?

There is a specific moulding for around the windshield. Rhe local shop was able to find one.

Using the term "new" pretty loosely here... :D

Looks like a nice piece.
