Thanks phill, I think i have 7" springs so may run into the same problem you have if i went to 6". But let me check my rear, if they would work maybe id just step up the 450 in the rear. Then i could put a 4ks sway bar on the front to get rid of some of the sway.

Ben, then you could buy my 2 leftover 400lb'ers and jsut buy2 new springs. Unless you want phils springs...This is your thread so you can have the first crack at em :D

Nice! I recommend 7. If you look at the pictures of my car, the front is all the way down and the rear is about half way. I don't think I'd ever want to go lower than it is now (in fact I'm giving myself just a bit more clearance).

Sometimes it's nice to have a few options for s-car parts around, lol... ie no buying a trans! You order all the other swap goodies along with it?

Yessir, I sure did! I even got Hank's old Lightened AL flywheel. So all I will have left to pick up is the clutch.

It's not that at all man! :) I am just being super cheap and I can get it to Portland for 120 bucks, then an extra 90 in gas. Where as driving to SLC was going to cost a bit more. :P

Seriously about to blow a gasket out of frustration...

Small rant: First and foremost, I will NEVER, EVER EVER go 4 bolt on a turbo again. I cannot WAIT until I get to be V-Banded... where is this coming from? Well, it's coming from stripping out and breaking off the studs on my turbo hotside. When I originally installed my down-pipe, I didn't want to fight having the nuts come loose, so I picked up some really amazing lock-nuts so I didn't have to worry about it. Well, apparently they not only locked on there, they fused. So when pulling the down pipe, they took the threads off of 3 of them, and the 4th stud snapped. SO at the time, I was pulling the trans so I let it slide. Fast forward to today, I go down to pull the studs out, well, even with my best stud removers (heat and a really legit snap-on pipe-wrench - plier hybrid thingy) they decide that it would be fun to strip out the threads inside the turbo housing. SO right now, I am livid because taping cast that is that thin really freaks me out. I cannot crack the housing. SO here I am, I only managed to get one stud out, one is stripped and just spins and the last one is broke off. SO rather than fight it, It was time to walk away. Anyways, word to the wise, V-Bands are a FAR superior method of mounting a turbo. Screw the stock 4 bolt.

Sorry guys, I just needed to vent.

I think you've got a problem with your nuts.

Seriously though, I've taken off a few turbz and never had that happen so bad. Motivation for 5757?

If I had the dough the 5857 would be going on asap but my wallet has been loosing a little too much weight lately. I have to make the H1C/K26 work for me for awhile longer. Also, I want it to be sellable once the 5857 goes on. :)

antiseize doesn't allow you to remove your turbo in 3 minutes :)

Nor does it guarantee that your bolts stay tight. Anti seize has a way of being anti tight on a high cycle connection.
