Darin, find a black trunklid without the extra holes...probably be easier and maybe even cheaper to swap it then to do body work/paint on yours.

Darin, I have a red trunk with no holes. As long as the 90 isn't different then the 80.

Man, I think I missed my calling in life.....no, just kidding, painting with a spray can is awful. All in all I think it came out half way decent. Some rubbing compound and some polish will make it even better.

I have a red 90 truck lid coming this afternoon for test fitting. I hope the 90 and 80 trunks lids are the same!

I'm confused. You want the 80q spoiler holes??

Yes, I have a 4kq spoiler for the V8q. AKA the 80q spoiler. It more closely resembles the expensive V8q DTM spoiler. Okay, maybe it doesn't, but Steve A. used it for trade on goods a while ago and I haven't had the nerve to just drill holes. Plus, I haven't fixed the V8q yet...

And it fits!!! Now to paint it....or get it painted. Spray can paint is cheap and doesn't look great. $200 worth it??

Spray can CAN look good, depending on prep and how diligent you are during and after. I've seen roller jobs look actually pretty good. No joke. One of the Purdue guys on here (Alex, OOOOGT) rollered a 924 he had. A lot of elbow grease later, it was actually good.

I would say it depends on what you are getting for the 200. Will they blend or is it just for the lid?

Too late. Just dropped it off to get painted and it will be done by Friday. $175.
