Be careful because there is a real baby h1c that came with 46-ish mm compressor and 12cm non wastegated exhaust housing. That's what I made my ultimate hx35/h1c out of. That and the 58mm h1c.

There are some that came on 8.3L Magnum Case-IH tractors. That might be it.

When I get home, I'll take a pic of a big H1C and a WH1C that I have sitting on my bench.

WH1C left, H1C right. They both have the "antisurge" housing but only the WH1C has a MWE.

H1C

WH1C. Notice around the 5 o'clock position or the 4th blade from the 12 o'clock positio there's an "indent". That's the MWE groove.

And here's the 2 housings. WH1C left, H1C right. These are very much interchangeable.

Yep, tractor turbo or generator turbo in some cases I believe. Also, I meant 56 mm H1C not 58 mm.

Yes, intended :l
I can't help but wander if the turbos performance is being negatively affected by not having that huge oring on the compressor side.
On another note, the car stalled with bad heat soak on the iat sensor a couple days ago. I need to remember what table deals with that.
One more note, with my 25% base DC for the N75 and PID control enabled, I still only get a max of 50-some % DC at WOT. Am to believe that my previous PID settings just don't apply anymore?

MWE grooves most certainly help performance. Its short for "Map Width Enhancement". Truck pullers and tractor pullers are limited to .200" or all the way down to smooth bore (no MWE groove) because of the power potential you can realize.
It was intended to fatten the map on the turbo. Mainly move the surge line, all the way left line if you read maps, more left. This helped lower the surge limit.

Sorry I was referring to the compressor housing oring to seal to the chra. I haven't learned to read those yet but it couldn't hurt to know me thinks

Thanks for the good infoz

I learned quite a bit from Garretts website and their Turbo 101. That got me the basics and then asking questions from those who do this everyday.

Yeah, not having the oring in there could definitely hinder the turbos performance (it's like having a boost leak).
Yes it's true your pid settings wont work well with the new turbo. That's why when people ask me to recommend settings for xyz turbo I can't give a good recommendation without looking at logs and tuning myself. You're controlling a totally different system now (different turbo = different system). It makes sense for you only to need 50% duty cycle. The smaller turbo should need much more out of the wastegate to keep it making boost.

Cool, I'll give their site a read. Thanks.
Ah yep I suspected where there was wetness on the turbo so must air also be hah.
My micrometers are 1" capacity. So embarrassing..
I may work the PID over again to achieve 100% DC during spoolup at least.

When I said mic, I meant caliper lol my bad
There is a setting for holding DC at 100 until a certain pressure on the new scheme.

Gahhh! I forgot about that!
Everything has been going brilliant with the 200 and I was enjoying having the gauges abd tuning ability on my tablet until today. Left it in my car for 3 days and now it won't freakin turn on. Dammit! Probably needs a full data wipe or worse. Gonna lose some great logs most likely

Yesterday was great. Had a good laugh running down a 5.0 mustang. When I decided to make pursuit and lay into the car, this pedestrian that just heard the Mustang just had to look at what the hell was tearing it up to chase the other guy down. It was so funny

Chris I'm having a helluva time with your map. Thanks again! My brother is off work today and will be coming by my place layer so I'll ask him to help get the vidz
Edit: mt tablet was jacked up but finally turned back on

New 5.0 Mustang or old?
Don't thank me for the timing map, it's essentially a base map from Marc!

I don't know how hard he got on it but I don't think it could've been older than 3 or 4 yrs. Had a full exhaust and looked similar to the GT.
Thanks Marc

My new compressor housing is vbanded but I'm going to grund it down for a silicone hose. It has a 2.5" OD before the vband anyway. $70 shipped
Blasted and painted black

Chris don't I want to use "valve off below this pressure instead? N75 is stock configuration I was getting a BORING 180 kpa at 100 DC lol
I set it to 200 kpa to try

Valve off below this pressure is not what you're looking for. Leave it at just above atmospheric pressure. It's so the valve isn't on all the time when you're just driving normally or any other time the ecu is on and you don't need boost.

Alright so I'm a re-tard. I had the n75 hooked up so the straight pipes went from the IM straight across to the WG bottom port. I had it like that from the hybrid and went off a pic of it. So it would only create boost if the n75 got no power lol. I made it correct last night late and I'm trying the "new" control method. I have no idea what values to use so the first 3 rows/2 columns are 100% and 25% up top for the rest. I'll know better tonight.
No compressor housing yet tho
I inspired a high TQ Cummins to show his cards with a truck loaded with furniture yesterday haha. His shit was FAST and I was only making 20 psi for some reason so I let it go.
I did get my LC to hopefully throw fire. It sounded like it was from under the bridge I was at. People backed WAY off while I did it so that's encouraging

I put some work into its settings yesterday.
At the end of a joy ride a kid so excited by my car nearly side swiped me with joy while merging lol. I wanted to drag him out of his car but he had a hard on for the "sleeper audi"
I HATE people that think acting like that on the road is ok!
