worst thing though. Derek was all strapped in and ready to run it. got up to the line and they turned HIM around because the CAR went so fast.

i feel really really bad for him.... i know he wanted to run it.

he will have his chance soon enough.

:woowoo: Awesome!!!! Did you happen to get a video of it??? To bad about Derek not getting to run! Either way sounds awesome and nothing like being "TO Fast" to track it. :P

Well done Aaron...!!!

Such a well built machine deserves times like these. Really doesn't look like your pushing it at all? Looks super easy to drive unlike some cars I know...lol.

you guys need to start working more on fast audis :) cos in europe, every small country has its own 9 second audis runing for years.

anyway, nice to see some some well made cars! keep up Aaron! good luck

Janis, the valve is NOT in yet, that was slipping the clutch. my dyno driver made a 1.46 60' in it.

it is a rush. more vids processing.

Andy, this car is A DREAM TO DRIVE so far. stopping takes effort, but whatever, stopping is overrated anyhow LOL. some great pads and that will be a non-issue. and no we really have not started to push it. we inched up launch rate today, gave 1 & 2 100 or 200 rpm, but same overall 33 psi boost. tuning AFR's and such. this is just the beginning.

it pulls forever.

thanks ALL OF YOU GUYS that have been watching this and pulling for me to get it finished. i have almost quit a number of times. but THIS is what i did this for, and its working. many have helped along the way, with sage advice or words of wisdom. some have contributed just by what they post on their own projects, or in any of the numerous technical threads that take place here. ideas, thoughts, defining why they chose what they did. i would not have been able to build this car to this level if i stayed on VWPoortex, to be completely honest.
