I'd say with rings. And mine had pearl rings when I bought it. One of the first things I changed.

I was thinking about finding a similar grille for my 90Q when I put on the B4 front, but putting the rings for the rear of the car on the front. They're a bit smaller/less obtrusive, just not sure how well they'd interface with the safety catch pull.

I think rings will set it off for sure. White isn't a bad idea.

Kuma, if you want to roll a more euro like bumper without the expense of on buying and importing one, this is what my friend Mike did on his CQ...
Fiberglassed over the headlight washers, removed the rebar, and bumper shocks and mounted the bumper close to the body.
.. this of course will likely give you no more protection than one of the replica S2/RS2 bumpers, but only will cost you the time to fab it up.

That's good stuff to know. I may try that later on.
The car is kinda sputtering when I first start it up, I think I need to put another bottle of fuel injector cleaner.

I would put some rings on the grill to see how it looks also. It would probably look similar to an OEM grill, with a blacked out surround.
And, I had that grill on my car for a short period, and it reminded me of the front end of a Nissan Sentra from the same era. Just needed a Nissan badge.

In case he has something you need, there's an alpine white CQ being parted on QW.

I just found a bunch of "sport" B3 grills on Ebay. I find they look better than the ones that come stock on the CQs (at least in NA) because there are fewer vertical slats.

...that is if you are considering going back to b3.

That looks cool! Interesting how it kinda sets off the black and red as well.

You know if you want to dull down some of the chrome, you can take Steel wool to the surrounding trim and black it out like you will with the headlights. I left the rings chrome on mine. It looks better I think. That at least is an option untill another upgrade.

I agree with the stock grill. I hate to even say it, but I would have gone with clear corners instead of the smoked. Doesn't quite look right on the white.

Maybe if you "joey mod" your headlights the smoked corners might look a little better
