The dam and the country around it is pretty neat. How does it do in the super hot weather like we've been having?

So far I've had zero issues with keep the car cool and I'm running the stock 4k radiator with 3 of the cores cut due to leaking. LOL The only thing it ever struggles with is IATs but the recovery time is excellent off boost. The area around the Dam is pretty cool, I'm not going to lie though, I miss the green.

Agreed, and I hope to keep it that way for awhile. I do have some more plans up my sleeve for the AWIC and such. I picked up a BMW electric water pump for it so I'm going to plum it to the back of the car with a reservoir. I'm hoping it yields some good results with keeping IATs down. One other thing I've got up my sleeve is a Gates Racing (blue) timing belt. I learned that the 1.8 (225 TT) motor uses basically the same belt minus one tooth. SO, I'm thinking about giving it a shot if the teeth mesh properly.

Dude, it's hard to find time for squat when you're working 6 days a week, 12 hours a day. Just having 3 days off felt like a mini vacation, it was amazing.

Just made a little practice video for BBQ with my Ion Air Pro3 and CS6. Pretty basic stuff so far, I need to learn my way around CS6.

I completely agree, along with a better song. lol I just grabbed whatever was on the computer at the time. More than anything it was a wind noise test, clearly I need to come up with a solution.

build a shell around the camera to deflect the air but don't tell Hank (it might not flow as well as a 20v )
I have heard of people putting the camera in those waterproof shells to keep out unwanted noise

I've heard the waterproof case works better for wind noise at higher speeds aswell.

It does. It recommends that right on the back of the GoPro
The answer to better sound is an external mic. You can get a lapelle mic for cheap and that alone will make the sound on a GoPro worlds better.

I am planning on getting the lapelle mic, so that should do the trick. I'm hoping to get some half decent footage of BBQ this year so that it can be shared with everyone here on the board. Speaking of BBQ, I think this is the first time I haven't been in a rush to finish crap to be ready. I'm currently getting a V8Q somewhat road worthy for a local, but other than that I think Oceanic is going to be attending in it's current trim. The goals for next year though is to have fresh paint and real suspension. I'm getting really tired of not being able to seriously play in the corners.

Thanks guys! SO... this happened last weekend...
COILOVERS!
I went with Ground Control coils @ a rate of 380lb. The ride is much improved over my BG springs and I can finally drive the damn thing without rubbing under full boost and hard cornering, or both.
On another note, I moved onto another job because a good opportunity presented itself. I now am turning wrenches at Audi Henderson. Pretty much a dream job for me, we shall see how it is after the honeymoon phase is over. In the mean time, this is what I am wrenching next to all day long...
More updates will come in the near future. I've got some exciting stuff happening soon with the car.

Sneak in overnight and put a built 07k turbo into one of those Lambos and revel in the customer satisfaction.
