my friend bought a GoPro HD and so i was out for a run earlier playing around with it, pretty neat but there needs to be some fiddling with the housing for better sound quality IMO. it seems like quite a bit of wind and rattling.
You know I was just thinking that. I wondered if you have ever done a full pull on this car. WOT, though all gears til red line in 6th. I think you need to head to UT or NV to have room for that. Those country roads around your town aren't really built for it.
Btw, what is theoretical top speed in this car? 200mph?
Actually, I bet there are a bunch of cars built here on MG that the owners have never dared to stand on it in top gear.
*here be Monsters* :dur:

I think you need to go and find out which has the higher top speed, your car or that wussy porsche your dad has.

Sorry, 242...
The fastest speeding ticket in the world allegedly occurred in May 2003 in Texas. It was supposedly 242 mph in a 75 mph zone. The car was a Swedish-built Koenigsegg CC8S, which was involved in the San Francisco to Miami Gumball 3000 Rally.

That's is 300kmh. That is nothing to sneeze at in a 25 year old car. And you built it.

me'n editing/file converting programs aren't getting it on right now. plus a lotta stuff to do the next couple weeks. i do have an ok video if someone is bored and knows how to play with it. there's even a bonus shot. a few seconds of the local State Trooper in his under cover mustang. white with black stripes, all limo tinted out (AND THAT'S NOT LEGAL!), so he's easy to pick out... all right after my horsing around session. I could have been arrested 18 or 20 times give or take 3. i prolly should stick to working right now instead of getting thrown in the klink... that would suck.
anyone want to invest in a local large track? i've been plotting some local land with nice elevation changes and big sweepers/banks, i just need some financial backing

There ya go, speeding can help ya with the vids. Just make sure you send the camera with your dad the next time he comes down. I can't wait to have some fun with it.
HAHA. real funny. now give me back my camera. Thanks Ben, it's nice to see it actually works. Derek, what happened to the ronals? or did you want to show me the donated tires with the donated camera.lol.

I usually use Adobe Premiere, but right now I don't have access to it. SO right now I am just using plain'ol Windows Movie maker and "MPEG StreamClip" to convert the file format from MP4 to AVI. Whatever program your using, you pretty much have to convert the MP4 to a different format because it's such a compressed version of the file it's hard for programs to work with it. There are 2 real editing programs that do a nice job that are somewhat affordable, Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro. Both very user friendly and produce a really nice product.
