I'm jumping on the VEMS wagon with the assistance of Marc since they make Plug and play harness for the 200 20v. Progress tonight : got the head off and everything looks great! Hard to believe there's 254k on it. Pics will be up in the morning

Took some more time today to get the top end of the motor apart - here's what it looks like!
Firstly, metal distributor gear FTW!

Clean intake tract

Cams do these look a bit rough? - thinking some 7A's will find their way in




So far so good...

Here's how the bores look - oil is from removing the spark plugs with a failed valve cover gasket

254k miles!

I noticed my 3B block was in perfect shape as well, in contrast to all the MC blocks I looked at with similar mileage (those had big ridges).
