I actually LIKE Gobi Beige...But not the brown interior they came with. Red urq's are over done, so don't think about it. Black and Panther/Graphite are nice colors. The color of Corey's urq is nice too, I think Pelican is pretty close to it and came on the Cabrio and A4 so you can "easily" get it in the US.

ok, it's been driven! i almost thought about selling it....the clutch system needed to be bled and it had a noisy lifter....and the battery was dead....but that was the easy part. it even was a new dead battery!

haha, guys, this drives like it's brand new nearly. tight. i can't wait to get er' out on the road and bomb it around. my plan is to drive this thing while i take the 4kq apart for the v8 stuffs. i'm sooooooo tickled pink with this thing!

I got to drive an UrQ a while back. Something special about it...I felt like I was piloting history with the thing, it is so damn cool.

Im jealous once again. I like the color as well, and the interior too (I love the pattern on the seats and sunroof panel). Ive never actually seen an Urq on a lift, so seeing those under engine covers intact was a surprise. Heh, the only Urq Ive ever driven is an 85, never got to drive one of the older style interior dealios.
Argh, why must I be a poor college student

Don't be in such a hurry on the color.
Gobi is one of the rarer colors. Its quite nice when cleaned up.
And about 50% of the urq crowd will publicly disown you when word of a respray gets out. (Especially a Gobi)
