DYNO!!!!!!
Drag racing (legally of course)
Shop time to build/repair/modify stuff (Everyone can bring their list and we work on each other's cars!)
Track??
Pinewood Derby racing! (No mod limit)

Side note though, This made my heart skip a beat. I have a LOT to get done before BBQ now that I blew up my trans.

Ben, thats not true. Puting in a trans that has been done 50 times before you isnt that hard. The legwork has been done already. Its easy compared to rebuilding the engine. I retrofit an 016 into mt B4 90 and it wasnt too bad. Just get the pieces you need and throw it in one weekend here soon. You will be kicking yourself for waiting till the last minute to do it not to mention wasting the whole summer. Just doo eet.

Well, it's not just trans work that I am undergoing. Plus $$$ plays a factor as well.

Would be nice to make it this year (or any year). This year is out since I only have a week of PTO left and I'm in the midst of buying a house ($$$). Maybe I can plan better for next year? Oh wait, I said that LAST year

Looks like an awesome time.

Suggestion:
Based on the interest this year, we need name tags! For example:
Internet Handle: Audilard
Real Life Handle: Darin
I only know some people from their cars/online profiles and even though we feel like we know each other, I don't want anyone to feel bad if I'm supposed to know you, but really don't.

I'm pretty quick to introduce myself, but obviously not everyone is the same. I am hoping to make it down there this year. A good 5000+ mile trip will be good for the newly running project car

It will be roughly 800$ in gas, 50$ worth of oil change, sleeping in a coupe that doesn't lock, and crazy potential for problems...I'll likely have to find work once I'm in Vegas to be able to make it back east eventually

We'll see what happens. As of right now my future is yet to be determined.

Make it happen man!!
On a side note, I'm working on planning a Northwest caravan (the one referenced on the BBQ Facebook page). I will be posting details tonight.

Darin, I think we tried name tags last year - or one other year and people never took them out of the packets. If fact last meeting, one of our local guys who'll remain nameless said that we 'should have had maps' for the drives. Just so happened that I had a 2012 folder handy and pulled out THREE maps
WE definitely want suggestions and for everyone to have a good time. My regret every year so far is not being able to get to spend as much time hanging out with everyone

Just print "Hello, My Screen Name Is:" on the front of the shirts

A secondary benefit will be eliminating any question that we're all geeks

I finally registered. I have my wife signed up again, but she is 50/50 at this point. It is likely we will need a ride home since my car will remain in Vegas for some....tuning.

I still need to sign up too, needless to say I have a laundry list of stuff to do if my car is going to be dyno/tuning ready. LOL
