Fixed!
I changed the thermostat to a 80c one and bled the system very well. All is better and stays right at 80c. I must have received a bunk new thermostat.
I am relieved to say the least. On to a catch can.

It's very subtle at 50% but I love it. No hassle from the policia yet which I like. Sorry I haven't taken any pics yet but it's because my father has been daily driving the 200 and I almost never see it. Lol. He loves it except the clutch.
I'll get a few today man!

So I believe I remember reading that the V8 had a rear sway bar and that it can be installed on the 200. Anyone have any information on the setup and parts required?

I was just thinking about this myself the other day. Bump for more info. I would assume it just bolts right on.

you guys are sort of right:
What you want is a 92 urs4 rear sway bar setup. bolts on for the most part. 034 and apikol sell the kit, which has beefier mounts than the oem.

I'd really like to get one on there. I also have some kind of crazy clunk in my rear suspension that I still haven't been able to resolve yet. I replaced the struts, springs, upper control arms and inner control arm bushings yet still there is a huge clunk (both sides but drivers side is worse) when I hit a decent sized bump. Maybe the upper strut mounts?

Thats what I thought actually in which case its probably not exactly the same. That is a nice kit that Apikol has though!
Nick, maybe your subframe bushings?

my 200 and V8 both started having a clunk in the rear suspension when I installed lowering springs and bilstein struts.... I blame the struts and wonder if the top of the rear strut is making contact with the shock tower (that's what it kind of sounds like to me). I haven't dug into that one yet but should this weekend.
*edit* and the noise started immediately after installing the sport suspension.. I mean they were fine, I installed them, and BAM I had a clunk. Both cars.

I wouldn't doubt that they are bad too, lol.

Mine did it before (and after) the suspension install I believe but I should just pull it apart and take a look at the mounts. I haven't found a company that sells them though... Owned.

Yea, I also thought that maybe my 20 year old mounts couldn't deal with the better damping.. I haven't looked, but you can't find even OEM replacements?

Can you confirm that this is 100% bolt on?

Ran a brand new Mustang 5.0 MT last night from a 60 roll and was victorious. Had about two-three cars on him by 110ish. W00t!

I had a weird clunk with my lowering springs, and it got stronger after going to coil-overs. I haven't been able to figure it out fully. I pulled both rear shocks and whatnot, thinking they might be loose to try to check what it could be and I had no luck finding anything.

Does anyone think that this could be the rear diff bushing? I have it in one of my cars, but its not lowered, replaced every suspension part, soup to nuts, minus that last rear diff bushing. If your looking for oem subframe bushings i bought mine from scott mockry. interested in the rear sway bar kit and in research i have found nothing else bolt on...yet

Sounds like a possibility, but It doesn't sound like that's where it's coming from. it seems like it makes 2 clunks, one from each side. at least for me it does.

oh yeah, the apikol kit (and 034) have to have two holes drilled and tapped, but other then that, bolt on. (im pretty sure i read that in the installation guide on apikols website.)

Looks like we are both making good power then. You killed a new 5.0 (est 375 -380 whp?) and I was dead even with a 408 awhp skyline. Go 200 20v!

Hell yeah man! The guys in those cars really had no idea what the hell happened and couldn't believe to see the silver box shoot out past them, lol. They are even friends and knew exactly what was under the hood but just didn't realize how good it really went, lol.
Looks like I need a new radiator though. There is a slight leak from what looks like the end tank, blah. Ordered a new one.

Anyone know if there is a difference between the 20v radiator and the 20v radiator? German Auto Parts has them listed separately and there is a $100 difference however they look identical. Any idea?

The 20v should have a provision for an aux radiator. the 20v does not.

Hmm, maybe it was an option on some of them or mine is not original? I don't have the provisions on my current radiator nor the Aux radiator.

From what I have been told by guys like Ron, Derek, and Jesper; yes it is bolt on. I have not done it yet.
