So now I'm considering just using the eurovan crank and doing a 2.5L 20v.

Keep that crank. You're far better off doing a stroker than a revver. The head on a 20vt doesn't flow well enough to warrant doing a long rod de-stroker. Have a fat powerband from 4000-7000 and call it good.

true. It has a 1.66 R/S ratio too like the 20v motors

ugh....might buy a mini-lathe this weekend. Would mean I could make more precise and cheaper sleeving for the bushings :)

Scrapped the old transmission today after pulling everything of value off of it.....

It weighed a whopping 106 lbs with no center dif cover. Hell I thought it weighed like 80lbs. I must be getting strong or something.

$6.18.......not even enough to cover the gas to get there in the truck lol
