Had to pop the valve cover to verify phase timing, I was on the wrong phase. With some shuffling in VEMS. And some rewiring I got it running! Now on to the cooling system. Fan controller took a shit so it's going back and I'll use the factory setup for now.

Saw this in an email from Pegasus, looks pretty cool. Fan and waterpump controller in one. Not sure if it works with pumps other than their own though.

That's pretty slick. That definitely wasn't out when I was evaluating water pumps.
Been chasing gremlins on everything but the motor. Had to tweak the transmission linkage from pushing the motor and the trans back as much and possible. Also had a little smoke and flames from and exhaust fuck up so that's all fixed and ready to go in. Had to change up the surge tank return lines to get more fuel going back into the main tank.
Should be back on the ground tomorrow and out for tuning. Been playing with logs from Hank's TT-RS projects on pump gas so I should have a pretty good baseline when it comes time to romp on it.

We've got boost! 6 psi by 3100, 10 psi by 3500 in third. Had a bad connection to #5 injector causing me fits. It runs like a top now. Just need more tuning.

Tomorrow's to do list
-hook up the Accusump. Should take 11 quarts of oil at that point, lol
-test water injection
-swap in a heavier wastegate spring for minimum 15 psi base
-roughly tune spool valve
-make sure dump valve is working

The spool valve is pretty easy. You gonna do it on the street or with Hank? It only took dad and I about half an hour start to finish. Are you running it with an n75 or one of the fancy replacements from Marc/Hank etc

Just an industrial solenoid. I've done this before so should only take 30 min or so like you said

Oh yeah, I forgot it was on the old build. Very stoked for results with this turbo. Definitely post more VEMS pictures!
