Agreed. I really want some kill vids. Was something wrong with the cam to make it act like that? You obviously checked that it was in time before swapping, right? I don't see how that would create the problem you were having but iuno

Matt, remember the TTRS is meant to be paired with a variable exhaust. The regular 07k is missing that. So while it runs ok, like it might in failsafe, it is missing something while in boost.
Oh yeah, no kill vids here. Sorry. Way too risky out here. It drives people nuts but that's why I go to the racetrack

The amount of clearance in front of the engine is incredible. Must do wonders for handling.

So far so good. Hasn't stumbled yet with the extra heat shielding. Coils, injectors, still not positive which was at fault but it seems to be under control.

Been playing with flat shift. Have it pretty much dialed in. Just what I needed, something to make this thing even faster;)

What does that do to the trans as far as durability is concerned?

It's more WOT shift. It's actuated off the clutch pedal. So you are still disengaging the clutch a little, very quick, and it cuts fuel and spark for 350ms. It's pretty damn cool.

Would love to see some vids when you get it dialed in.
I bet the sound is unreal.

It could sound better, it doesn't make any of the dsg or pdk type sounds. Pretty quite right now

With the right exhaust it can sound pretty damn good. I'd like to have it sound more like the anti-lag. I am going to play with using that instead, it should work just as well with my pedal switch setup

It's actually quite simple. There are already a bunch of actuator type switches on the pedal assembly for the cruise control and brake lights.
On the clutch pedal, just remove the vacuum switch for the cruise control deactivation, and put in a brake light type switch. I had to play with different combos of actuators to get the right length for activation just when the pedal firms up.

How does this feed into VEMS?

It's a one wire ground switch type deal with vems Darin.
I can tell you from experience that if you try to use the stock clutch pedal switch you will accidentally use it all the time and probably damned near slam your face into the steering wheel. It is a hair trigger for sure.
