It was sweet to see/hear this fire up the first time! I was really hoping for a flame shot launch control, but either way this is going to be one bad ass car! cant wait to see it moving under its own power.

off topic question - how come most pictures on this site come out absolutely massive? you have to scroll across to see the rest of the pic etc.

The clickable one's at the start of the thread was fine.

update
SO 8 days before Carlisle Hank managaed to squeeze in finishing, and shipping my pickup tube between everything else he has for workload.

SO i could seal the pan on. That was the kick in the pants i needed to finish this thing so Tim(my2000apb) and I started a marthon of sorts. Between RedBull, Pizza, and sleep depravation we did pretty well with the time we had. We treated it slightly differently in effort to make the bay at least presentable for a car show. Its the most important area to me anyway.

So we had a slightly bigger list than i anticipated when we started and of course as you go....The list gets longer

There was a 3~ foot section of exhaust we hadn't finished yet, here is that. The car is 3" turbo back with the smallest unchambered 3" in and dual 2 out. Dont recall the part number.

had to patch back in a bit of sheet metal on the inner fender

and a raw start of the starter adapter. I dont want to give dimension of anything til Im happy with it for a while. We also have serious time into that stupid hunk of aluminum and I know hank did too! It def had a bunch of cranking tim between at Carlisle, at my place, and Marcs.

'06 forged crank(no theyre not ALL forged)
IE Tuscan rifle drilledrods
JE 8.5:1 pistons

Iroz MS Valve cover
Iroz MS Flywheel
Southbend stage 3 PP(7a style) with stage 2 xtreme(feramic/feramic last full face before puck style)

All other items fabricated on my car were built by Higbee Performance Fabrication(audidub) and/or myself. Also help from Tim and Toph as well. Examples: header/ exhaust front to back, intake manifold/piping, etc.

Drivetrain:

The car may looks faded on the outside but this car has already been gone through on its first iteration..
B4 brake master and booster
greddy oil filter relocation kit(thermostatic)
OEM 140amp alternator
034 subframe bushings and trans/diff mounts
custom delrin control arm bushings
POR's subframes
Front subframe center has been "Relieved" as much as possible. lol
Energy Suspension sway bushings in front
new BJS and tie rods
Manual steering rack
DPJ TDI 01e trans(no oil pump) but it does has the .0561 6th gear :drive:
URQ rear diff(DPJ is 3:89 which is ok with me)
all stock fitment axles for an 84 4k with one spacer on RF 12mm thick.
016 output cups/bolts shortened 3mm
016 linkage with URS slug and bushing "fitted" in.
stock brakes and uprights
H&R springs (07k is too much lighter!!!!!)
Bilstein sport shocks
034 strut mounts. They fit MY car lol

i think that covers it for now....
