So do 4.2 V8 4KQ's. The torque down low and in the mid range is really nice.
Taco, just put a couple jumper cables form the negative post up to somewhere on the engine or trans and then try to turn it over. That will tell you if you have a ground wire issue. Then its up to you to find if its the batter bround cable or the engine ground.

Ok issue fixed. It did end up being the battery ground. However, when I did the multimeter test, I was freaking out because it was still reading 12.5v from ground post to cable. But then I realized that from positive to negative post also read 12.5v. But now I could arc my connections around the car, like the starter and common connection where all lines meet. The sparks were gigiganormous compared to before. But....still getting soft click at starter. WTF!? So I jump the solenoid to the power and the starter sounds like it is grinding and freely spinning. Well now that the starter is insanely easy to change thanks to no more battery tray and reunkulous down pipe, I put the starter in that was from the JT. Just tested it, turns over like a charm

Get urself a small block Dodge like me
More than enough bottom end to go around. Midrange is good but top-end sucks!
Those 4.2L are killer on the top end. I like the sound better than my Dodge to be honest

Got the oil primed. Gets a solid 30psi when cranking over. Kinda got scared at first cause the gauge kept reading 0 till I turned it over for the 3rd time
