Call marc about the display..You cant space much more than 10-13 mm then you start getting towards the end of the threads on the motor mount studs. Unless youve replaced with a standard bolt. BTDT

I'll call him next week, I think he's busy with Phil's car and the whole event.
I know, 5mm will do, that's all that's needed.
If it wasn't for that intake spacer she would have fit just fine.
I already massaged the hood a bit, Craig will be appauled

if he sees it, need to get some paint on it asap
Cheers

Martin-
Di you calibrate battery voltage in VEMS? I'm assuming not Motronic, right? My car has idled rich (but runs fine) for years - if not since the day I did the motor swap (8 yrs ago!). Per my ProDiag it say O2 Adaptation is out of spec. Still a head scratcher for me...
Glad to hear you are making progress.

Yes, it was VEMS that allows that calibration, I have no idea that you can even adjust that on a Motronic without too much hassle.
I am happy with this VEMS, at least almost every variable is adjustable, just a steep learning curve, but for long. You might want to consider going this way.
Cheers

Great weekend, calibrated few more things, including EGT.. works great.
Still need to massage the hood, but took a nice 1 hour drive yesterday with the family.
Kids love the horse snorting sounds the wastegate makes on overrun!

Still hate the VEMS LCD... every fraction of a second keeps switching between views, not long enough to catch details you really need, and that's while its standing, while driving it's hopeless not to mention dangerous.
Anyone knows how to make it stay in one view, sort of like this?

Much appricaite it.
Cheers

under outputs->display settings, set "lcd page step analog input channel" to 0.
I didn't finish Phil's car in time, I left myself with too much to do and not enough time to do it in. trans is in, as are all of the spacers (which I finished turning on my lathe around 1am Friday morning) but the final nail in the coffin was realizing I didn't have the correct metric adapters to bypass his transmission diff cooler pump. so no way I was going to be able to finish.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try this this evening, it's driving me mental.
Sorry to hear that, did you trailer the car there anyway?
I've seen couple of pics on quattroworld and it looked like a big success.
Hope to be there next year.
Cheers

Marc,
Tried your tip and it worked well.
I just have a question about what two of the numbers mean.
The one in the bottom left corner (right before egt), and the number after T (top row).

I have all the other firelds figured out.
Thank you!

You are welcome! Glad I you can use it.
Off to John's tomorrow for a day trip with Craig, need to give he a wee wash, don't want her to look scruffy next to Phoenix
Hope to see you at the next meeting and thanks for painting that RS2 bumper for me... maybe this winter you can do the Euro bumpers for Shannon as well? 8)
Cheers

Took the boys to soccer in the quattro, they ask for a ride every day...
Field was empty so I took the occasion and shot a few snaps.

Still have to install the full stripe kit, but for now the rings will do, thanks to Mike Sylvester.
Cheers

In all seriousness, it looks AMAZING, sounded great when you left the pub as well. The last 2 pictures are my favorite. Maybe we can take some of the extra paint from Shannon and put it on my pink lady.

I used to prefer the new sloping look long time ago, but now that I got older my taste changed and prefer the classic look, not to mention that's the way it looked originally.
I have a set of Euro bumpers that I may install at later date, already have the Euro harness in there for the lights so it will be a plug and play affair.
