Please note that I was not talking about waiting for payment hahaha - my life in general right now doesn't allow for this kind of frivolous spending for SEM's, exhaust fabbing, and other pricey things that are yet to be done.

paypal is caseyo.hara20@gmail.com

I will be seriously PO'd of that thing shows up broken.... I over packed it like crazy; or so I believe.

lol I know you weren't talking about that. I PM'ed you asking for it though, so I figured I'd ask here instead since I got no reply ;)

If its broken, no big deal. I just need it for a test subject.

my bad... I read it and could have sworn I replied, but it was probably one of those 'read it on the phone and thought I'll :P respond later' deals

A week ago or so a friend of mine helped me extract the 200 from it's space in the corner of the shop. I've been cleaning up small things that'll make a difference in the end, but needed to wash it since it still had the road salt from January 2010 on it from when I towed it home from NY. So it got a bath!

Sorry for not having real progress updates.... this is the only way I can keep the project alive tho :P

Great car, glad to see your project moving forward. Really clean example of a 200. Curious to see how your seat install is going to work out.

That's a question I've been asking since I took it apart in September of 2009.... As quickly as I can while not piling more debt upon myself. I need to get my flywheel resurfaced, I'm waiting for my clutch to arrive, and then I can put the engine back in the car at least and stark mocking things up. I'll hopefully get the head back on the motor this weekend, but more realistically sometime next week.

I need to pick up some 7A cams too...

In all honesty, I imagine it'll be another year before I'm driving it :( gotta be patient though! I could have it done in a couple months and have lots of credit card debt and a divorce on my hands after 4 months of marriage :P Not worth it!

Thanks for the good words and support from everyone. I've been trying to build this car since I was 15 (now 25) and there's no way I'm giving up. I'd rather have it sit in storage like it is so I can plug away at it when possible than sell it off. Allie and I have already had that conversation and she's perfectly ok with it - she's a keeper :D

What size is the inlet to that muffler and how does it sound? I would pay to have it cut off and sent to me ;-)

I believe it's 2.5". Let me dig a bit - I know I have a video somewhere, but it's from an old cell phone. The sound is nice though :)

I'm going full 3 but I wouldn't mind dropping for that muffler... I like the outlet on it too.

check out ebay - i picked it up for $50 shipped and maybe they have a 3" now. I decided 2.5" was ok since I was only running a chipped ecu and I too loved the tip. Another suggestion is to find a 3" I/O muffler and weld a BMW X5 tip on which looks very similar but better if you ask me
