Actually I don't want any boost now. I've come to realize that I don't need or have any want for 500 hp. This car has already gotten me into enough trouble and I've already tried to kill myself in it one time too many. A 360hp S8 engine will be plenty enough hp's for me. It was already fairly quick and surprised many people with just the A8 engine. Couple that with the headache that twin turbo's provide and I want nothing to do with it.
I'll leave the high HP turbo monsters up to those who want it. I also need to save some money for the rally tribute build. I've already spent almost half of what I had saved up for the rally tribute on this car after the accident happened. I wish I was made of money and could just throw the cash at the car but that isn't the case.

Honestly I think this is an amazing idea. Yes yes I know this is the "project" pad, but really an s8 motor audi 4000 is already amazing - and from everything I've seen the car is perfect as is.
I can definitely admire someone who can enjoy something for what it is... just hope there are more videos.

Well said. I like the variety of projects here, and this car fits into the mix nicely.

Just seeing and hearing all the trouble people have with just one turbo is too much for me, let alone 2 turbos. Itb's would be cool but again that brings me to the money problem. Just a stock engine will do for now. Richard, im already on life number 2 because of this car

. How about boosting the corrado? I know someone who would love to help you do that. Its going to be a shot while before any work begins on the car, but updates will come as soon as it can. For now the car is sitting in storage with a historic alpine 4kq, a URQ, and some nice american and german classic cars as company.

FWIW I had zero issues when I plopped an MC1 motor into my 4kq and ran it on a QLCC ECU. Its stupid easy to get the car running right, and properly, on CIS. I was quite happy with the mundane power level. I think the highest boost I saw was 12-14psi? It was enough for me at the time. Extremely fun and reliable!

AudiSport4000. Stock turbo engines on stock management are fine, its when you do a bunch of mods that things start becoming unreliable and the issues occur. The engine in my car was never there from the factory, it does not run factory management, and it did not come with turbos therefore it was not made for them. Before you say it...I know about the RS6, but that engine was built with boost in mind by the people at audi. Neither of the engines for my car were made for boost. I found that what I really enjoyed about my car was how reliable it was compared to similarly modified audis (for the most part). This goes without saying that I did have a few minor issues but the last 6 months the car was on the road it was rock solid. I'd like to not change that aspect. Im not saying they all are unreliable, but a bunch of them are. lol
Your 4kq sounds like it would have been perfect for me. My next one will be mc1 but it wont be cis. That car I will expect to have issues, but it will be the beater of the two so its acceptable.

Im not teasing. This is all I have, I promise. Im posting these pics as they are sent to me.
I wont have anything to share until this coming week when the car gets looked at by the frame shop. The only known issue that might be a the decided factor that gets the car scrapped is that the driver door doesn't shut properly and there is a little kink in the body at the top of the driver side A pillar. It obvious that the car is slightly tweaked. As long as the A pillar can be straightened so the door works properly the rest should be fairly simple, hopefully.

Car went to the frame shop and has retuned. It was bent back to within 1mm of spec and the driver A-pillar is fine. Derracuda said once he had the driver fender off the door started opening and closing properly
Before and after pics to follow soon.
