Well played, sir.

Sometimes I feel like I'm spamming this link... but it's so amazing to have pictures work, even if it's just for looking at old build threads and such:morris400 wrote:The trans mounts are the only ones that seem to increase NVH. So far Iike the snub, engine and diff. Quality product for sure. I'd post pics installed but photofucket you know lol.
Interesting. I noticed a bit more NVH when I did my engine mounts. Those were the first mounts I installed before all the other ones. I also used HPR tranny and motor mounts but used Apikol for the diff and snub mount.morris400 wrote:The trans mounts are the only ones that seem to increase NVH. The Clear Corners will be nice. Just redid lenses again and added new 3M so they look mint
Good to see it's still up and running. It's still a baby sitting at 301k. I'm up to 406k but I just blew out my headgasket so it may be time to part it out lol.morris400 wrote:Have not updated this in a long time lol. Car still running good. Better every day. Rocking full HPR drivetrain mounts now. Snub to diff. Did some regular maintenance today...coolant res, oil change Snub and diff mount install.
5 years and still kicking. Sitting at 301k km now. Clear Corners on the way ( I caved Dustin)

I've got some body and frame issues, this was the straw that broke the s4s back lol.morris400 wrote:Long time buddy. Sent you a PM. Don't part her out man...change that HG.
It's kinda hard to see the 3m but it's there. Went 12mm.IslandRinger wrote:Interesting. I noticed a bit more NVH when I did my engine mounts. I like the clears on my UrS6. Pics of said 3M on your lenses? (Use Imgur)

I had an extractor break off in a broken bolt not to long ago. Was not to fun to get out. I did a lot of looking online as I was unfamiliar with how to get a broken extractor out. Found that (most) are hardened steel and can be very hard to get out. One of the tech’s at work used a pencil grinder to start getting it out. Luckily he got it to move and it came right out.morris400 wrote:started my 7400 install, and its resulted in me pulling the head lol. Will update with more info and pictures soon. everything was going well until....the manifold stud snapped off in the head and the extractor also broke in there lol.
Right on! Glad to see some more progress. I know we spoke through email regarding the work but I'm still a bit skeptical about yanking the head when I do my install just for the sake of it. I do agree that I should do a compression test to get a good baseline of where my engine is at health-wise but in my opinion, it seems a bit unnecessary to pull the whole head if it's not mandatory for installing the manifold and turbo. Not to mention the added costs involved. (headgasket, cylinder head bolts, etc.) I'd rather not open up a potential can-of-worms. I do understand your situation with having the extractor break off and such. As the saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."morris400 wrote:Head is off. Today was very productive. Need to get head bolts and a few other small things but it's coming along well now.
