Full blades.... What are the benefits to a full blade design?

Better pressure ratio efficiency, ie better efficiency at 24-30psi than a 6+6 design. You could accomplish the same with 7+7 blades, but a lot of material/weight is at the base of a blade. The weight at the tips of blades are very small. If you can get more surface area for less weight, full baldes can take advantage. Cost plays too. Less machine time because of the ability to use bigger cutters to rough out compressors.

Just jumping aboard here, is it possible for you to do a holset hx35 with 440 injectors?

yep. on all of this, I need the car and my tuning gear to produce a chip for you.

Great, you wont happen to be in california any time soon will you?

Do you need the car our can you work with just the ecu, obviously the car would be better but don't really have time to come out there. From what I hear the map is very similar to a gt35, some have even run it on gt30 software.

I'll be doing a 3071r car in about a week. but until I've done a 35r tune I wouldn't dare guess at the required changes. I'm always able to be more agressive on a car thats physically on my dyno so I can check everything over. any canned tune I sell will be slightly de-tweaked from an on-car test and tune due to the variances inherent from car to car.

I have heard through the grapevine that you can even program a primative form of 2 step using the speed sensor? Does this apply to all motronic cars or only later year models?

it can be done on others but I dont have the tools to do it on earlier motronic easily. it would require development work. I can do it on all AAN ecus and also later me7 stuff.

Very interesting. I would be very interested in hearing how much development would be needed. Been hearing but nothing but good things coming out of EFIexpress locally

Marc, I have one of Hank's K26 turbos on the way - do you have the chips ready for a stock URS6?

is 350WHP reliable on a URS6?

no problem.
its the upper limit of the stock MAF but we can tune to that. beyond 350whp on stock motronic we do big maf conversions (rs4) or speed density (mafless)

Can you tune ships for a h1c/k26 hybrid with out the car? What about irozmotorsports do they have the same tunning capabilities? Can possibly make the trip down there if it comes to it.
Thanks paul.

yeah, we can do a chip for a h1c. Iroz does not have the same setup we do, however we do plan on flying in to see him sometime early next year (Jan/Feb) to calibrate some EFR motronic chips for some setups he's been working on. Perhaps we could coordinate to do everything at the same time?

I'm late to the game here... but I traded my Holset and VEMS for a Volvo K24 and EFI-X chipped ECU back in November and I can't wait to get the car running again.
I'm already thinking about phase 2 when the volvo turbo takes a dump... billet K26 or EFR7163...

if no rods, do the EFR 6758. stock turbo spool and mid 300whp on 91 craptane.

Ohhhh that's tempting.
What's the cost difference for Motronic tuning an EFR vs. billet k26, on a UrS4?
