The injectors were my first thought but no change in idle. It seems like the problem lies between the igloo and turbo

I wonder if your carb cleaner just go sucked into the intake snorkel.
Is it possible I simply need to adjust the fuel dizzy?
Oh, so you have not completed the CIS idle speed and idle mixture adjustements? :slap:
http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/trouble_s ... ml#mixtureAbout 1/3 of the way down the page.
You will need a DMM, a duty cycle or dwell meter, and some alligator clip jumpers.

Thanks Jeff. Im like 99% sure the cleaner was going into the intake. Thats why Im getting frustrated with this. I will follow SJM's instructions tonight when I get out of school

Forgot to mention that you will also need the special CIS mixture adjustment allen wrench (really long 3mm allen wrench).
Did you vacuum test the wastegate diaphragm (pull a vacuum on the upper chamber and the wastegate should lift, let off vacuum and you should hear it drop)? If it is bad that will definitly cause the overboost fuel cut.
If I where you I wouldn't even bother with the BPV right now until the rest of the stuff is sorted out.
Just keep working through it, you will get it.

Hey I noticed something in his directions. He says to plug up that T that goes to the crankcase gas port and valve cover or suffer a vacuum leak. I never connected those and they are open. Could this be the source of my leak?

So the port on the valve cover, where is that connected to? If nothing that is an immense vac leak. ALL ports/lines should be connected (or in some cases, capped off).
Id really start with square one and a stock ECU, test for fault codes and get everything working as it should THEN go to the upgraded goodies

The crank case and valve cover should be vented back into the intake waffle boot to collect the fumes. However if you have the port closed off on the waffle boot but the nozzles on the valve cover and block are open then that will not cause a vacuum leak (That is what SJM is instructing you to do for the idle adjustments to eliminate the disturbance from the crank case ventillation).

I guess my confusion is that the valve cover he is running is NOT for an MC motor, but a JT/KX rather. Wasnt sure if my message was confusing

I am running the valve cover off of the JT for my throttle linkage setup. The valve cover is OPEN and is not plumbed into anything. Same with the crankcase vent

That's going to be a problem.

That's going to be a problem.
Why?? As far as vacuum leaks go that is fine as long as the port on the waffle hose is plugged.
Eventually you can plumb the JT valve cover nozzle and block vents into the waffle boot. Then if you so much as remove the dipstick the engine will stumble.

Ok I will plug up the valve cover, TEMPORARILY, and see what happens. Same with the crank case vent. I was going to plumb both of those into the igloo.

I dont think I have a waffle boot anymore loo. I have an igloo

You need to leave them open to allow the blowby gasses/crank case fumes to escape. Adjust the idle the way it is then plumb them into the igloo.

K thats what I thought. I wouldnt think having an open valve cover port and crank case vent would cause vacuum leaks

Woops. Read that wrong.
Was thinking the hose that went to the waffleboot/igloo was also open. the one that connects to the T on the valve cover.

No I have that port on the igloo plugged. I know certain engines need those ports to go somewhere but dont think thats required on these engines

Here is something interesting. It runs better if I pull in michelin man hose off. I tried finding more leaks but im getting same results. It seems that it runs better till I tighten down the hose clamp
