Looks fab Jim,
Dont sweat the color difference as you will have to paint the rear 1/4's anyway when you flare them. At that point its only a couple of extra panels to paint to get the whole thing the same color

It really does look the part now though.

Looks good! If I didn't have a Momo wheel already, I'd get one of Paul's for the CQ, they look nice...

Wow that wheel looks so much better in your pic than the one I saw in the ebay pic.
That looks good!! I thought it looked really cheap in the ebay shots.

Yea, we'll see how the wheel stands the test of time, but the price was right. 8)

Yeah for sure!! Even if you only got a couple years out of it you'd still be getting your money's worth.

Thanks! The B3 bumper was already as far foward as it would go so it mated up pretty well. It could stand to go foward another 3/8", but it works for now. I put a little notch in it for the fender flares and then made a bracket that bolts to the back of the fender to hold the rear of the bumper up. I hear ya on the b4 rear flares, I'd love to do it, but that's opening a much to large can of worms.

Yea, so I seem to have gotten sucked into buying a big screen yesterday with that money
I'm not sure what the plan is yet. I'll probably convert the front to B4 struts and hubs for more offset when the 01E transmission goes in since it has the big output flanges and I could then easily use B4 driveshafts and it should all mate up. Then I need to make the decision to go 5 bolt or not. For the short term I'm just going to toss some spacers on and some 225 rubber next time i need new tires.
The ultimate goal is to have B4 rear fenders, and some Porsche Twists on it. I love those wheels. BTW, Tox, you suck for having some!

Simple solution buy a set, you send me the two 17X9's and I'll send you the two 17X7.5's then we'll both be styling!!

Jim, looks great!
Oh, what size oil cooler are you running?

Mercedes turbo diesel cooler in front of the radiator. My setup isn't large enough for hot track days, I plan on putting a massive oil cooler on the passenger side this summer, and an 034 aluminum radiator that's well-shrouded.

Man,
That car has come along way. Looks really good. I guess you could
watch unlimited dyno runs and some other footage of the car during the winter months with that new big screen tv
Man my wish list keeps on growing. I can't keep up :frustrated:
Cheers,
Craig Cook.

Keep the stock radiator shroud. The one from my coupe fits really nicely and my temps always stay down below normal. I have an extra if you need it.

Darin, I think you gave the advice...but I'd add a lower duct out of a thick corrugated plastic material, such as that found in realty signs. Unless you're running a bellypan, there's a big hole down there.
That said, I heard some rave stuff about the sheetmal ducting done to Christian's Coupe.

As of tonight I'm off the E85 crack pipe :( It's for good reason though, I'm finally going to make the ACNA Steamboat event this year :-D I'd burn through a tank just driving up there so I figured I better get back on pump gas and work on some fine tuning since I haven't run 91 on these larger injectors yet.

Man I gotta get out there and run the steamboat event some day looks like fun.
