Now THOSE I like............the polished lip and satin spokes

you already know how good the satin looks with the zermatt and the polished edge just sets them off......I'd get'em.

ok, got the radiator fan hooked up tonight. i have to warm it up yet to get the fan cycling, but preliminary testing shows it's all hooked up right
i've wired the RS2/3b fan up like it's supposed to be. it's controlled by three relays and a type44 dan resistor plate. it now has low speed, medium speed, and typhoon speed. typhoon speed will be setup to come on when i hit the A/C on switch. there's no A/C, but i can now manually turn on the highest speed if i'm really wailing on it and it's getting hot.
this is the cooling fan relay holder from a URS4.... it holds a nice 70amp relay, and three normal relays... very handy

bracketry

heat shield for the relays... not terribly protecting... but better than nothing

that there distribution block is off a mercedes. i like em' cause they're cheap and easy to work with

there's the fan resistor plate...

P.S. the gallardo rims are off it now... it kinda makes the 15" BBS wheels suck

i think it's time to start saving for some keskins!

weeeeelll it's back to the grindstone..... i'm trying to the get this car finished.... and the dash is slowly coming together. yesterday afternoon i got the 200 indicator, headlight, wiper, combo switch all hooked up and interfaced with my 4kq's wiring. the only thing left is the cruise control wiring and then i can button up the wiring around the column.

hooray for dash lights!

you can see the autocheck display showing light from behind. it's just currently empty with the plate in it to make it not an obvious do nothing hole in the cluster face.
ahhh yeah, it'll be a sweet day when i quit fiddle fartin' around and get this thing on the road and get to enjoy the new dash.

i also got partially started on the forming of the dash housing. yay for bondo

this is before i get messy

i used tape for a general mold along the edge where i need the build up to be

ewe... looking nasty so far!

that's as far as i've gotten on it for now, but more soon

i do have an engine issue.. it's idling low once it warms up, and it's also going rich and fouling out the plugs. i've checked the temp sensor and it's reading properly, i've disconnected the 02 sensor to go into that basic limp mode and that doesn't cure it.... so i'm still hunting around for the moment. it did randomly clear up for a bit, and then went back to running weird :( hope i figure that out soon, it's annoying

I was just wondering if maybe the pump could somehow overpower the regulator or something. Do the regulators ever go bad?
