So how was it!? Where'd ya'll go, what did you eat, who had the fastest car, etc.? Some of us need to live vicariously here.

There was some fantastic cars this year, and we were not the only ones above 500 wheel! Nate's CQ fly by was pretty awesome. Love that CQ. I saw a vid at the BBQ BBQ of it :)

Poop. I'm technically ~12hp shy of the 500whp club.

Yeah, poor choice of words on my part. I don't mean to take anything away from the power level of any project car. That's not the point, I should have said there were a bunch of really nice and fast cars this year and it was nice to see others making great power numbers!

You have to have the youtube.com/watch blah blah link in there, not the shortened youtu.be

What'd the ol' girl make?!?! when do we get to see everyone's graphs!?

Your runs were the last of the correct runs before the rear strain gauge took a dump. Based on your fuel consumptions/min, I think the 480whp is very, very accurate. I'll load up graph in the morning

So Jim and Sean's cars were the fastest huh? That might be a fairly accurate statement and for sure Jim's Vomit Comet is faster than my Urq. I bought him coffee when we stopped for gas, lined up side by side at the turn signal leading into the 215 onramp. I figured that with him having to juggle coffee, steering, and shifting I could get the jump. I wasn't doing too bad until I thought I might be able to coax 2nd all the way to where the lanes merged. While on his back corner and 20 yards from the merge, I bounced off the 7800 rev limiter and it was over. Jim says he was driving with a cup of coffee in his had and a finger hung out to steer with. He must have been trying hard huh? :)

the cq flyby was pretty awesome. I couldn't even keep up thru the valley with my cars issues limiting me to 80mph but just making it there and back home was all I could ask for. the new setup worked well all things considered and I cant think of a better way to shakedown the car. thanks again to everyone who helped me with my shift linkage. I already cant wait to go back.

I still can't get over how many people came! It was hard to talk to everyone, but great to meet new faces.

John, your car is a riot with that turbo, e85 and the weight of the urq I really had to rev it out to stay ahead of you.

It proves HP isn't everything. BTW, thanks for the coffee. Although I suspect it was all part of a plan by you Hank and Mark to make sure I had caffeine before going out in public.

I'm sorry I missed it. I'm glad my car was in attendance and that it got up and running. I can't wait to see the video of it doing donuts....or was that supposed to be kept on the down low? I made a last minute decision to fly to Missouri, do some bass fishing and catch the Royals game on Monday night. The game got rained out and the fishing was lousy except for one day so I made the wrong decision. I'll be there next year again....with my car.

So sorry to not have been there for any of the festivities. Especially at the Iroz homestead! Nice work (AGAIN) to all those who hosted!
