ummm. this type of activity leads to shorter axle life.
wait, you discovered that already?

Unfortunately the weigh in didn't happen the other evening as planned. Hopefully this week after I pick up another axle. Lol. Pass side went down for the count last night, it was clicking for a while I think the last launch of the evening last night killed it.
Did somebody say donuts? I've been waiting for this vid... did not disappoint lol. What's the HP estimate?

Honestly with only 18psi in this thing if I had to take a wild shot in the dark, somewhere near 420 or so at the wheels, sadly my speedo still doesn't work so I can't really get any nice in car vids that show how quick it is romping on it.
I'm still waiting for a vid of a race from yesterday vs a 76mm 5.4 stang on 18psi that made, according to dyno sheets, 590whp. We only got one clean roll in on the highway to which it was door to door til about 6800 or so in my fourth gear where I put a nose or so on him. Was told he couldn't get fifth and that's about when I was ready to shut down anyway cause I only like to go so fast in the thing to be honest. We were gonna go from a dig next but he ended up toasting his clutch cable. Anyway, hopefully this week I'll get the boost up to about 26psi or so, then I the car will really be moving...18psi on a 67mm turbo I feel is like running -10 fuel line for on your stock civic, im sure once this thing gets more air pumped into it it'll realllllllly start to scare me.
well i guess its one of them clutches on them american cars that aint hydraulic. it was ran too close to the downpipe and it gave up the ghost last night. bummer too cause after the roll race we were gonna go from a dig, that wouldve been interesting to say the least. maybe later this week, once i get a few more psi in her so i can just walk away instead of inching forward on it, lol.
so, cars been solid. bosot is at 28psi now, still havent gotten on the dyno to tune it. the map i have was from a 20v that had the same injectors but a smaller turbo, so i KNOW once we strap it down to tune more boost in there and add more timing, the car pulls like an animal at the moment and the Z driver said the only thing hes had an issue with beating so far in his car are R1's....so i was happy to say the least. Especially knowing that ive still got a lot more left in the setup. I've been yanking on 600 and 750cc bikes pretty good now. Just gotta get the gopro on one of my friends tanks and run it, lol.
its a push/pull cable with a twist lock handle. ran to the rear of the car and secured to the body with some of those nifty sleeve clamp things. the end of the wire has a bolt welded to it, said bolt goes to the rear end locker arm. there are two nuts on the bottom of the bolt, its just snug up to the arm itself, and then the bolts are tight onto one another so nothing back out. then i ran a wire off the rear end switch to an led in the gauge panel so i know when the rear is locked/unlocked.

just having some fun in the parking lot at a local meet this evening.
YES! I am seriously missing not having my turbo and launch control.

hit the dyno this evening.
baseline pull was about 446ish iirc, and ill tell you what, the car was a rocketship at that power, just ask my buddies gsxr 750.
came off the rollers at 648, boost was up in the 38 range. happy as a clam. really going to try to get more boost in it before the snowfalls and get that 700 i was looking for. then BIG brakes and BIG rubber over the winter.
forgot to thanks, Kevin Black, for having magic fingers. my good buddy Chris whom has welded anything and everything ive needed for this car. and mr aaron crossley, whom has guided me through the electrical side of things with this build because i can put motors together and fabricate anything, wires without a drawing.....not so much.
