If anybody wants to go home with a forged crank 07k, let me know in advance. It takes a bit of effort to track one down, but we have them with sub 30k miles for around 830$

I hope the lack of updates is because it's being flogged around the parking lot! :hide:

Exhaust is built, stainless front, aluminum rear.

Bottom end is built, checked, and double checked for clearances. Our rods with some Mahle 9:1 pistons should do the trick. Valve pockets were opened up a little bit too to take advantage of IE's 12.5mm cams in the future, as well as bigger valves.

The car is over at Sean's now getting the detail work done on thebrakes, fueling system, ect. I am getting the engine built, and we should meet up around Monday morning to marry the motor and car together for the last time, spend Tuesday wrapping up the loose ends, have wednesday with Marc Swanson in town for BBQ helping get the map select and other things sorted, then tuning on Thursday. A lot on the ol plate.

I suppose there is no clue on the FW mounting end of the crank?
