F#CK clutchnet!

Goddamn clutchnet butt holes took my money and will not pick up the phone or return messages.
I spend $480 on a clutch that they claimed to have, and never heard anything from them. I did talk once many months ago and they claimed that the pressure plate was back ordered for a couple weeks. This was 3 months ago.
I don't know how I am going to get my money back since they are in CA and don't respond to any contact. Oleg's mail box is full.
Take heed, think about this before you order a clutch from these asshats. I don't care how good their produces are, they do me no fucking good sitting on a shelf 3000 miles away.
I want to beat some ass, but i'm too broke to take the trip out there.

i know other people have had good luck, and maybe the 80 clutch is an oddball, but they have HORRID customer service. WILL NOT call you back, WILL NOT respond to any email (but strangely they were very responsive when they were trying to make the sale)
I'm really pissed, I can't really move forward with my project without a clutch, and I want the quattro running for winter.

The kid who bought my old S4 is going through Clutchnet to get a new clutch. Ordered only a disk a few weeks back and received it in less than a week.
We pulled the engine out of the car to find that the pressure plate was bad. He ordered the PP last week. He hadn't received tracking info and called today. Spoke with Igor and found that the PP is not in stock and Igor sent him to a different vendor for the Red PP.
Sucks balls man. Maybe he's somehow screening your calls? No idea. Call from a different number maybe.
What clutch did you order? I have a full 7A PP, Red PP and 6 puck sprung disk here in perfect (used) shape if it does you any good.

i thought he might be screening, tried calling from a VT landline and a NY cell phone. So not sure. I ordered a clutch for a fwd 80, red PP, sprung hub, full face. Supposed to be good for 375 ft/lbs. I could use a 7a clutch if I had the flywheel machined I believe. I may be interested if i can get my money back.

Just copy pasta from a SPEC thread, my uncut feelings about clutch net.
For what it's worth I bought a brand new Stage 2 Clutchnet for my 16v MK2. Within 3 weeks the clutch springs themselves exploded and destroyed everything, new lw flywheel was ruined, casing broke everything. It was a complete failure, and I did not receive a penny back from clutchnet, and I was out 600$ from the installation. At least I learned to do my own work after that.
This was back in 2009, and a different chasis, still the taste of paying 300 dollars for a clutch that did that remains.

And yes I was avoided like the fucking plague from him after explaining the situation-
You are probably lucky you never got it, Customer Service and Quality of really go hand and hand. I have learned to stop doing business with any company that won't return your attempts to reach them, or loves to give false hopes and promises.
Hope you get this resolved dude, would love to see another running quattro in the snow.

I'm sorry to hear this considering I've had good luck with Oleg. He was always helpful and always answered when I called. That being said its pretty much bullshit and sounds like he is giving you the run around. Message me your info. Full name and address and what you ordered. I'll have a letter of intent written and sent over to their office. You would be astonished how fast people respond when they receive one. Pays to have a best friend that is an attorney.
As far as the quality of their products...I can show you what nicks clutchnet setup from his 3076 setup looked like...you know the one that all of his launch videos were takin with...you might second guess all the negative comments. Remember everyone complains when it fails and when it works as it should, most never speak of it. Anyways shitty situation regardless. Let's get your money back or clutch sent to you!

i just realized that one of my women is a law student and works for the states attorney general office in the consumer protection division. I will have to consult her on this issue. This shit is pissing me off, I just want to put the motor in the car for the last time and move on with it!!!!
I can get a spec stage 2+ clutch for the same cost as this clutchnet unit, so maybe I just need to to a charge back.

if that implies multiple, and she's a law student you've potentially got bigger problems than clutchnet

what was it you said to me when I pointed out the chick with the broken arm smoking a butt while washing her BMW? Something about being broken. You might be right.
multiple is the only way to go at this point in my life. She is only in town for another month before moving back to VA, so I think I'm safe

So I'll post on what we have found out about Oleg krirenkoff. The Clutchnet corporation is in fact filed with the California secretary of state....However, their status is suspended. Could be a number of reasons why they are suspended. Tax reasons, bad business practices.
Suspension or forfeiture affects a business in many ways:
The business loses its rights, powers, and privileges to conduct business in California.
The business loses the right to use its business name in California. In turn, another business could register with the suspended or forfeited business' name, and the name would then belong to the other business.
The business cannot initiate lawsuits, defend itself against lawsuits, or enforce its legal contracts. But other parties can enforce their terms in these contracts.
If the business enters contracts while suspended or forfeited, it can never enforce those contracts unless it obtains relief of contract voidability.
Suspensions and forfeitures are public information.
The business loses the right to get an extension to file a tax return.
So I called during my lunch today. You know to ask about a clutch on their site. Lol
No answer, left a message acting as a buyer. I received a call back but unfortunately missed it as I was in the middle of a PDI at work with some corporate asshat breathing down my neck. My friend wrote a "formal" registered letter that will be sent tomorrow or Monday. All Concerning your transaction in general. Since its registered it means we will know if and when someone signs for it. I hope we (you) get a response soon. I know the helpless feeling when someone has your dough bro. Time to

shit up.

Wow, not surprising to hear any of this about Oleg to be honest. He seemed shady from the start. I cannot thank you enough for your efforts, do you like beer? I can bootleg some unobtainable VT beers your way.
Should I just sit on it and see what happens with the letter, or should I start trying to get back my money via my bank?
Thanks again man, I owe you big time, going so far above and beyond for a stranger!

Again, I really really appreciate the effort man, totally cool.
I began a charge back through my bank about a month ago. So maybe in a month I will get my money back. I am hesitant to purchase another clutch in the strange case that clutchnet actually sends me something and the charge back fails. Then I will have an extra clutch for a very rare application that no one would really ever want to use. So I wouldn't be able to sell it.
Its annoying, but I can still put the flywheel on the motor and get it installed and started without the clutch, so its really not holding me up at this point.
