why C4 URS cars?

does anyone know why C4 S4/S6 parts are 3x as expensive as the 100/A6? the parts i question are the front clip parts. i know the bumper and fenders are different from the S car to the its lesser counterpart also the that the front clip is different from S4/100 to S6/A6. i recently has a little accident in my S6 avant on thanksgiving and i was in need of a new bumper cover and to my amazement i find S6 bumpers used that are hammered for sale for 600+ and nice ones for over a 1000+. thats just ridiculous! even the salvage yards are gouging the hell out of the price. i went and bought a perfect A6 front cover with rebar and impact shocks for 75.00 and im now fabricating the ends from my old S6 bumper to the A6 bumper.
its pretty apparent that there is no aftermarket OEM look front bumper so Im now considering making a mold of my finished S6 or if i can use the OEM bumper cover off of one of my friends cars to make fiberglass repop's. also if the S6 one turns out as good as i hope i'll make an S4 mold too. with that said and if these turn out as planned i would offer these for sale at a fraction of the price of what people charge for hammered OEM bumpers. i've already made molds from my set of URQ fenders i have yet to lay some fiberglass down and see how they turn out though but time will tell. im also thinking about URS4 and URS6 fenders too along with making a limited test run of carbon fiber body panels.
any input on this would be great, thanks guys.
