DomP90 Coupe Quattro

Whats up guys, just thought I'd finally start a project thread on my very long and slow project so far. I picked up a non-running 1990 Coupe Quattro from a buddy with the sole intention of stripping and rebuilding it. So far the plan is built 20vt, PTE 5858 turbo and 01e 6-speed for the drivetrain.

So far I have:
-83mm 8.5:1 JE pistons
-Scat rods
-PTE 5858 billet compressor wheel, ceramic ball bearing turbo
-ARP Headstuds
-ARP Main studs
-034 coated rod and main bearings
-Wagner Tuning intake manifold

And many other little odds and ends. I'm waiting on my Iroz Motorsport equal length header and matching downpipe right now. Originally I had a Wagner Tuning high flow RS2 manifold but ended up selling that for an Iroz piece. Can't wait till I get it!

Next step is to send out the bottom end to the machine shop and assemble it. I'll be getting a full Ferrea valvetrain soon and sending the head out to get redone as well. Hopefully I'll be able to keep you guys updated quite often, but it's tough between work and school.

And since I know you guys love pics

Nice Dom, I can't wait to see this materialize into awd drifts. It is going to be a beast.

Judging by the parts you have, it looks like it's going to be one heck of a fun ride!

Finally got the name of the guy that machined my friends motor in his 1100whp vette, so I should be dropping off the motor soon. Gonna order the valvetrain parts this week hopefully and then the head will go out to hank for some minor work. Progress to be made soon hopefully!

Also Ferrea stuff has been ordered. Should be in any day now. 0.5mm oversized exhaust and intake valves, valve springs, spring seats, titanium retainers and valve locks.

First start is still a long ways away so ill settle for the new parts feeling... which I got to experience again today! Manifold and downpipe have finally arrived. The quality of Hanks work is out of this world, so happy I got rid of my wagner for this. Next step is to get the head and bottom end machined. Head will be going out to Hank and the bottom end ill have done by one of the many good local machine shops. Also moving into a new garage so its time to start getting my hands dirty again instead of just spending money.
