I have never been pleased with very light flywheels, but that is just me. I think the stock 7a flywheel is a good weight for a street car.

What stocker flywheel weights 13 lbs?
My flywheel weight data:
Stock 7a- 25lbs 6oz
"Lightened" 7a flywheel- just knocked off the weight ring off the engine side. 22lbs 13.2oz. Definitely did not remove enough material. Before picture

NG flywheel- 18lbs 3oz
NG. I was told this was from a 3b. Maybe a 200 with a 016 gearbox? Missing center spigot for mounting pilot bearing.

Fidanza- 10lbs 9.2 oz

AAN Dual-Mass- 26lbs 13.2oz (not pictured)
Note: The AAN clutch disc & pressure plate weighed 13lbs 4.2oz & the 7a clutch weighed 14lbs 11.6 oz
Next is a little something left over from snatching the 3.0 liter crankshaft out of an AVK motor swap we did.
AVK with automatic flywheel on a 7a engine. 22 windows between the -2 slot & the TDC timing pin on a standard flywheel. More suitable for a stand alone fuel system. Just add longer flywheel bolts & a small flywheel to attach a Tilton clutch.

More pictures of the AVK flywheel on a 7a block. This better shows the relationship with #1cylinder @TDC & -2 window on flywheel.

Spacer used on AVK is needed for correct ring gear location on 7a crankshaft.
