Any one have recommendations for a good glass polishing product? I have mineral & water deposits on the glass of my Coupe that will not come off with glass cleaner. Now that the new windshield is installed I want to clean up the rest of the car.
TIA, Chris

Cerium oxide powder for sure. It works miracles. Use a circular polisher of some sort and use a felt pad. Watch the heat though. Have a spray bottle to keep it wet while you polish. Put a liquid solution with some powder. It goes a long way. It works best just as the solution is about to dry while polishing. If you have to, move to a wet spot to keep it from drying out or just give it a light mist from a spray bottle. Tape things of because it can get a little messy and might take a little effort to remove if you get it on rubber or plastic.

Also for just getting deposits off 0000 steel wool works great, commonly recommended from detailers and whatnot. Just buff dry then clean with glass cleaner and a microfiber.

You could also use highly corrosive toilet bowl cleaner, 100% hydrocloric acid, it will remove all metal deposits. Buffing is nice but get a spec of sand and it all goes to hell with scratches.
