about 3 out of five days when trying to start in the morning to go to work i crank the engine over and it won't start and it will backfire out the exhaust when i turn the key off. I crank again usually two more times then it fires normally, it will never back fire more than once though. Vemstune is showing trigger error "too many sec trigger", this goes away after about 20 seconds of running and doesn't happen when warm. This problem seems to get worse in colder months. where should i be looking? Cam sensor, grounds? attached trigger log and starting log

I ran into this problem during my initial start ups. My crank enrichment was to low. I'll have a look at your log and see how the numbers look compared to mine. I went from 3 starts before it would stay running to 1 start now.

your crank enrichment seems low to me. i had to have mine at 500% @ -30 and 375% at 0c to get mine to start on 1 start. i have a thread right below yours that may be worth a look. Chris has been an amazing help for me during the tuning process.
