Reluctantly I am putting this up for sale. I'm only putting it up on this site initially because I don't want to sell and really don't need to sell. I just have many projects and other stuff going on in life that are more important. I hate seeing this car sitting around and not being enjoyed.

I'm going to start the asking price at $3200. All in all that is about what I have into in parts alone.

I have a build on here, so all the details of this car can be found there. Here are the basics:

-1994 Audi 90 5MT
-1998/99 Audi A8 ABZ engine, 98K when swapped in. About 3-4K on the swap
-Factory ECU, have a spare and a chipped ECU to go with it, runs the best right now on this one.
-TTV Flywheel ($500), uses a standard B5 S4 clutch
-Remote oil filter setup, with thermostatic sandwich plate and cooler
-Uses V6 rad and factory radiator support with fans pushing
-B5 A4 power steering pump
-Has AC condenser and B5 compressor installed. No lines. I have the factory lines and parts to complete the B5 setup that can go with the car.
-Nearly new BF Goodrich tires on Team Dynamics 16" wheels
-Bilsteins w/ B5 sport springs in the rear
-H&R springs with new KYB strut inserts up front

The car runs and drives well. I put a new timing belt and all related components on it during the swap.

The only issue with how it runs is sometimes it acts weird under part throttle. It is hard to describe because it doesn't always happen. It sort of bogs sometimes at 50% throttle for example, but if you reduce the input to say 40%, or increase it past 50% it accelerates perfect (just and example). For me, after driving it I don't ever notice it because I have adapted. WOT works great :D I have other ECUs as noted, one that I had socketed and chipped with Reflex tuning software. It does not run any better with that ECU. I've taken it to Carlisle and back as well as other car shows right after the swap and it has proven to be very reliable, getting 20 mpg on the longer highway trips.

The paint has see better days, and is perhaps the biggest flaw with the car. The 'vertical' surfaces, such as the doors and fenders, even bumpers clean up fairly well. The hood has the typical Pearl white cracking of clear but still, can look okay. The roof clear coat and the top of the spoiler is rough, and will come off with a weak power washer.

The door cards could also use a little attention, as the leather inserts have started to fall off.

Saw this on the Facebook! Came over here to make sure my eyes didn't deceive me.

If it's a ME 7.1.1 ECU the speed signal is input into the ECU by CANBUS which could be the throttle issue your describing. I had similar issue until I had the VSS set to emulated a constant speed on mine.

I'd love to take this off your hands if it's still around in October! I love this 90!

Yeah its bittersweet to get rid of it. I gotta tell you, facebook gets you a lot more traction with selling stuff than this place

The ABZ ECU is ME5 by the way. It started in 1997, so its old.
