:drive: Hello guys, I've been in the audi Scene for about 5 years now, lots of ups and even more downs, I used to have a 2001 B5 S4 until Apr 15 when I blew the motor, car was my baby as much as it could be. It was a stage 3- with BW K04s and tuned by jfonz. After the motor blew I sold her as is for 3k.

After this I then picked up a 1994 UrS4 100% stock with 199km. Needs a few things but nothing major. Engine runs amazing, interior amazing.

I've done a couple mods so far, I've added a boost gauge and blacked out the front grille, also ordered a new shift boot.

I've had one of these on ever car I own, this one will be no different.

I'm loving the new car, needs a cupple things like I said. Small oil leak ( I will find it when I change the oil) needs new mounts cause there still stock and lots of play. And she idles around 950 with AC on but normal when AC off.

Other then that I'm happy with the new car.

I'm 99% sure I found my oil leak, it's coming from the oil pan. I'm gonna have to get this fixed. First repair bill in the way. Lol

Make sure all the oil pan bolts are tight and present. Sometimes they come loose BTDT on unopened engines.

Clean everything too so you can pinpoint where the leaks are.

Super happy you joined!

And soon you'll realize the joy of diagnosing a UrS vs the B5S4 & the ease of repairing it yourself too... I've had both and feel I made the right choice in sticking to UrS cars...

Kenny! You found the spot where the cool kids hang out, I see.

One other thing to check with the oil leak is the crush washer on the drain plug. Might have been reused.

If you need a new oil pan after all, I have one you can buy for cheap. :)

I may take you up on that offer, I'm gonna be doing a oil change maybe tonight and ill clean the area with brake cleaner and see if I can find a noticeable leak. It's been a cupple drops over night but nothing real bad. Took a look under and saw the oil pan had oil on it. I'm still good for tomorrow to swing by in the morning time say 10 ish.

if the oil leak is on the driver side of the engine also check the oil dummy light sender, they can leak and drip oil. I had one that was pissing a stream at one point.

That's incredible, observed with Canadians, Dutch, and some Ozzies when I was overseas. Great people and soldiers.

Tonight I fixed my pwr steering leak, and replaced the 8 missing oil pan bolts...and tightend another 3-4 that were extremely loose.

How'd you deal with the PS leak, buy the fancy dancy tool or use the ol' screwdriver & hammer?

i was able to borrow a drag link from work, then file down the corners and it worked. new screw comes in tomorrow from audi. hammer and screw driver was not working as it was fucking up the screw. all i did was use the teflon tape untill the new oring arrives.

im sure it was about to fall off lol.. bottom of car is covered in oil right now ill need to clean that up the next cupple days. i think the PO masked some issues with the car that are coming out now. im a little pissed but ill take it one step at a time and fix ther small things. the turbo is making some sounds it probally should not ( dentist drill ). i checked for shaft play on the cold side and found some but not much. at least this turbo can be swaped in a matter of mins over the B5S4.

Did some more painting in the bay, swaped out my DV and installed my 17s and sold my 18s.
