7A machining service?

So... I have three 7A heads that need to be converted to AAN spec (water manifold, cam gear sensor and extra exhaust stud holes).
Who, where, how and how much?
I like the bolt on bracket like in this video

Doesn't Sean do this? I think that's his video

Very nice work on that video. My last head that I am running in my Urq, I did myself by hand using a made up template. It turned out good and one that I did for Hank which he ran in his big HP application worked well. In both cases however, the AAN cam position sensor wasn't used. I think that the next time will have to be figured out on the mill, but again I won't have enough Z travel, or horizontal to do the cam position. Chris (Wheeljack), whom I bought my mill from had run a few heads through when he owned it for the water manifold upgrade. You may want to talk to him about doing something with his new machine center.....I'm sure he will eventually write a program for it.

Maybe I was thinking of Chris not Sean?

We probably could set up a fixture on the Router table to get the cam position if we hung the head below the deck.
Martin, I could cut the water and exhaust no problem. It would be around 130-150$ for the water manifold machining and around 50 for the exhaust holes to be cut, especially if we did 3 at the same time. Brydon will likely be able to do it for around the same, but be able to cut the cam position sensor on the new mill of his. Problem with the cam position sensor is it will also require a replica of the bolt on ppiece the earlier head had, which is going to add 40-50$ to the cost.

Thanks for the quick reply. I actually found another one hiding in the basement, so now I have 4...
Now, I like what Chris did for the water cooling channels, that would be a good addition while the head is worked on.

Yes, I can do this, Martin. I've done quite a few and have 7-8 more around to do right now.
http://brydon-eng.com/catalog/services/Now, this is pricing for single pieces, which involve a lot or setup/fixturing; I can do lower prices with quantity to amortize setup times.
I've not done the cps mod yet, but I've had the bolt-on piece in hand and know the machining to be done to fit it. So, it's not listed, but I can do it also.
Hank's prices are about right for three. Figure about $80-100 for the cps machining and the bolt-on piece
If I can't post that link, mods pm me with the rules. Not trying to 'advertise', just answering the question from OP.

Chris - you are absolutely entitled to advertising/posting your stuff here. There is no charge to vendors - you "pay" by contributing content to the community, and we all know you've done more than your share of that. If you are interested in having a section for Brydon Engineering on the forum index to showcase your products & development, you are more than welcome - let us know.
We will be posting more info on this type of stuff soon.

No Kidding Hank!!!!
Posting prices feels like we're breaking the law!!! I have to still wrap my head around this forum.
I hope we can build the ultimate no pissing contest forum ,where we can all share our passions and leave
the shit of daily life at the door. I joined this forum to move forward and meet people that I respect and
have the same passion for fabrication and car building that I do.
There's nothing better than dealing with people with like minds.
Cheers,
Craig

Martin, please just be truthful and admit once and for all you are building an 80 valve quad turbo V-20 engine in your basement

Oh yeah, with quadruple CIS-E..

Just not sure if the starter wire will be long enough.

Love the video

Chris or Hank, if you need a reference cps sensor adapter I have one in my parts stash.
