Bizarre. I was discussing an import with Hank a week ago and he said it would launch in a few minutes.

So excited to see this one, this thing has been an ongoing inspiration. Is it painted yet? Love to see pics.

Inching toward paint! Body work is finished and we are negotiating for a booth.

Updates of substance will be done primarily here. I will probably mirror at MG since there are a lot of people following there.

Thanks to Marc, I have my fuel injection. I am undertaking severe austerity measures to ensure that I have the rest of my engine build money saved by the end of November.

Very soon, I will start throwing parts at this car!

It's green! I am uploading pics from my phone, then have to host them at MG since I can't seem to do that here, then I will bring them over here.

My friend Jarrod did an excellent job on his first whole car paint job in several years. I am very happy with the results in spite of the fact that we couldn't arrange for a booth.

I am still waiting for the engine to be finished. Money is saved to pay for that, though. As soon as I clear out some other garage work, I will get the Fox on its own wheels. I can hardly wait for that!

I am still waiting to get the Fox back to the shop--waiting for the roof and lighting at the shop to be fixed, that is.

The good news is that I have saved what should be enough money to pay for everything the car should need to complete the project.

The only remaining "big" item to buy is a Griffin (unless somebody else has a recommendation for another brand) radiator, which I am budgeting $800 for.

I also still have to order the driveshaft, but that will wait until the transmission and rear end are installed so I can take a 100% valid measurement. A one piece shaft shouldn't be a problem when that one piece is only 35" flange to flange. That's about $300.

Other than that stuff, it's hoses, lines, spray paint, powdercoating for trims, etc.
